They worked pretty well and served my purpose but only for few months. Now when I turn them on one of the two lights either doesn't turn on or stays on in the low illumination mode even though I set the high button. Not worth the money.

I bought this particularly for the timer feature. I have set the timer for 12 hours and it comes on and off everyday automatically without fail. Timer starts when you switch it on so I turned the switch on at 7am and everyday it comes on at 7am and is off at 7pm.I would suggest maintaining a distance of 11 to 20 inch between the light and the plant. It's very suitable for indoor plants lacking sunshine in winter.The lights are made from PVC and metal and weighs about 1 lb and has a 50000 hour lifespan, it has two heads with two different kinds of light blue and red red which is good for plant yield, flowering, and optimal development of the seed germination and blue which helps your plant take more energy and will help them grow strong and healthy both heads are flexible so can be pointing in different areas at the same time I would definitely recommend to anybody who is looking to grow a small indoor plants.The clamp has a foam pad on each side so it can be clipped on a variety of surfaces without worrying about scratching anything. The lights let you turn on each head on or off individually, depending on how many lights you want on.FYI: this light does not emit any heat that will harm your plants. You can have it close as you want and your plants will be perfectly okay. I'm very happy with it.

My own fault for not looking better at the picture, but I did not realize there was no base, only a clamp to attach to something, which I am still trying to do. The “manual” is ridiculous. One sheet with descriptions and no instructions on how to actually set the timers, etc. Will need to do some googling to figure it out and hope it meets my needs.

No problem setting up. Easy to get it working and very handy. However, I don't like the purple light. It makes the plants look brown. Can't tell if they are dead, or if it's just the light. I have to remove the plants and bring them into another room to see them as they really are. If that doesn't bother you, then this fixture will do the job. Have only been using it a couple of weeks, so can't judge how the plants are liking it.

Quick delivery, minimal packaging and the lights work amazing. You only get one clamp but two light heads which are easily adjusted. Neck is strong and the lights dont heat up too bad,Will be purchasing more!
