I recently ordered this game. First off the price was awesome compared to other places it was 12 dollars off. I started playing this game a couple of years ago and loved it from the first day. Haven't encountered a better multi-player setup in a long time. Even Modern Warfare's multi-player isn't that great when you compare it to this game. My favorite scenario above all is the Bunker Assault. I was really hoping MW1 or 2 would have something like this, However they left vehicles out entirely... which i don't understand why. Which is one reason why Battle Field Bad Company 2 is sweet. Anyways back to this game.There are vehicles in this game, jeeps, tanks, and super tanks(as i like to call them). Really makes the game fun.The graphics are obviously not amazing... however the game can be played on a massive number of machines due to the fact that is isn't that graphic intensive.The game allows for custom maps and you can either block or allow them by turning on or of: the downloading of extra content.Its really just a classic game. You can't beat it in my opinion!

On the pro side, the graphics in this program are better than some other first-person-shooter WWII games I have played.On the con side, in more than one occasion I have finished a segment, checked all the boxes, reached the designated finish point and the program did not close that segment. The only recourse I have found is to play that segment over and hope that the program would end properly. At least one segment required 4 or 5 replays before it would conclude so I could progress to the next segment.Even though you are shooting people, there is not much gore and the bodies go away after a time.I am having fun playing this game.

The original COD is outstanding- easily the equivalent of the Modern Warfare games. The version I received from Amazon's seller was labelled as new but appears to be a UK knockoff. The discs for United Warfare have glitches that lock the game up. Even more perniciously they stop the game from being removed from your computer even though the game does not work.I did not return this product because the original COD was so much fun that I felt it was worth $10 even though United Offensive is nonfunctional.Just be careful which version you buy and avoid buying from Select2go.

All games using SafeDisc DRM and games using some forms of SecuROM DRM just won’t work on modern versions of Windows. This includes every version of Windows 10, and Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 with update KB3086255, released in September 2015. In short you would have to disable the kb3086255 in order for the game to run. You won’t have any troubles with newer games, or these older games if you acquire them via digital downloads. You’ll have problems with many PC games released on physical CDs and DVDs between the years 2003 and 2008. Many of these games include SafeDisc or SecuROM DRM.

... There was a first-person shooter made for the PC that spawned the most successful shooter franchise ever. Designed by Infinity Ward- Call of Duty, combined with it's expansion pack United offensive, is an extremely enjoyable gaming experience. There are ton's of AI to massacre and the gameplay is very satisfying. If you're looking to share the field of battle with your country's fallen heroes, then go ahead and get some fascist booTAY. The expansion pack, made by Gray Matter Studios (which has so much game play it's basically a whole other game or maybe Call of Duty's TRUE sequel)took the original game's greatness and expanded on it magnificently. All in all, these games are the originals and they are the extreme. Load 'em up and have a blast.

Call of Duty Deluxe Edition was bought as a gift

This is an old sckool 1st person shooter yes very boring to today's youth. But playing this with all the members of my wife's family who come over every year for Christmas has now become a family tradition and as such we maintain at least 5 computers cable of playing this game. Even our top of the line machines with Windows 7 and 8 64 bit are now both dual O/S machines with Win XP hiding and waiting for another COD LAN party. This is where it all started and was Game of the Year when it came out.

One of the best game ever!

I really enjoyed playing this game. The only criticism I would make is that it's a bit shorter than I'd expected. A few more hours' worth of gameplay would have been just right. This game is second only to IronStorm in my opinion.
