Mishimoto MMRAD-SUP-86 Performance Aluminum Radiator Compatible With Toyota Supra 1986-1992

radiator works fine. HOWEVER the drain plug is already seized in it pretty good. and its brand new, less than 600 miles on car. went to drain fluid to make some mods, and drain plug was EXTREMELY tight. tight enough that i knew it would cause issues if i kept going. so i left it and disconnected lower hose to drain. and no, it was never cross threaded by me when installed. the plug was already installed upon delivery , i snugged it up and that was that. so now i have a project on my hands when the time comes to fix this issue.. sucks.this is in a heavily modded mk3 supra with 7mgte motor making 700hp at the wheels. using the stock fan clutch, 180degree thermostat, and upgraded TRD radiator cap, this radiator does a decent job keeping temps at normal operating temp.UPDATE: radiator is still going strong. Keeping car cool enough in scorching summer weather. I still haven't addressed drain plug issue tho.

First impressions:Item was as described. This fit perfectly on my '87 Supra. No issues with the lower mounts, slid in with no problems and fit like a glove. Only real con about the item I would give is the radiator cap that comes with it. The cap is a little too snug and is a stubborn to unscrew sometimes. Other than that, the design is nice and the electric fans I had on my old setup fit with just a little bit of modification, nothing major.As for cooling efficiency, I will have to wait to take it the car on some canyon runs or track time to provide a more in depth conclusion.

Looks nice but factory shroud will not fit it sits high and cannot use the manual fan. The fitting are a little too small for hoelses

Fit in the vehicle mounts properly, but the inlet and outlet necks for the hoses are smaller than factory. This means that you will have to cinch down the hose clamps, potentially distorting the hoses and causing leaks. Also, I feel that the smaller necks may be creating a restriction to the coolant flow, as my car now starts to overheat when the A/C is turned on, which it never did before. Mishimoto's own cooling fan shroud had to have the mounting holes modified (Which voids their "Lifetime Warranty". Have fun with that!) in order to mount up to their own radiator.

As already mentioned it fits perfect on MA70 supra with no issues. I am only giving it 4 stars due to the inlet and outlet water necks for the hoses are smaller than factory. Otherwise, it be a five star. Wish Mishimoto would redesign the water necks.

The quality is nice but the cap leaked and where the hoses hook up is a little small so had to double hose clamp each one

It didn't fit the lower mounts properly. Mishimoto fan shroud had to modified to fit.

Better better cooling . Lower temp . great product . would buy again. If needed .

Showed up quick and is as advertised. Haven’t installed it yet but should be good!
