Leviton 7070-PG Electrolier 2-Circuit Lamp Holder, 250 W, Incandescent, Medium, Brass

I liked this product. Was easy to install, even though the wiring on this lamp was a mess. Worked very well on my 3 way lamp. First click, top light comes on, second click, both lights turn on, third click, top light goes off, click again, all light go off.

I search all hardware stores in my area and none carry a two circuit socket. Can always count on Leviton!!

I had a bottle lamp. The bottle had Christmas lights inside to use as a night light. The person that made it, had a switch on the cord. This was the only way to turn the night lights on, and of course, you used the lamp switch to turn the bulb on. To turn both on, you had to use both switches. I felt like there had to be a lamp socket that would do all the functions I wanted it to do without the extra switch on the cord. I figured some of the stores would have the lamp socket, but they did not. I finally did a search and found that Amazon carried these. I was so excited, I bought three of them. I could hardly wait to get them. When I got them, I nervously installed the first one, turned the switch, and the night lights came on. I turned the switch twice and the lamp bulb came on. I turned the switch three times and both lights came on. Then I turned the switch the fourth time and both lights went off. I was so excited that it worked just like I wanted it to. I have done a second lamp like the first one, and it is working fine also. Now I have a third one to do, and I have every confidence it will work also. GREAT FIND!!!

I have 11 very nice lamps I bought 44 years ago and can't find anything comparable to them now days. All the lamps (living room, bedroom and floor models) have a night light in the colored glass base. Finding a replacement 3-way switch which turns on the lamp main light, then night light, then both lights at the same time was a challenge. The Leviton 7070-PG Aluminum Shell Incandescent Lampholder was a perfect replacement. It was easy to remove the old worn out fixture and install the new lampholder by just keeping track of which of the three wires (or sets) wrapped around which screw of the lampholder. I'm not an electrician but the entire process from start to finish took less than 10 minutes to have the lamp operating like new again. Will definitely buy more of these lampholders for when my other lamps eventually develop a switch problem. I highly recommend this product for anyone with a similar need.

It does have the 3 wire hook up which works. I unfortunately have male threads instead of female. So it's dangling silly right now will go shopping for the right one shortly. (did not know this till I took it apart)

The turning knob, can be better quality. Purchaceh because I was not able to find one un my haware store.

Leviton make great products.

A little disappointed in the quality and feel of the product. Not as described as it did not have the set screw.The metal is so thin it feels like plastic.
