Does it come with a lid?

It doesn’t come with a lid. You can order a lid for the larger sizes of the Tatay Baobob. The lids are available on Amazon. NB the kids don’t fit tightly into the box but instead just sit on top - which helps to keep dust out to some extent.

Are the measurments for the base or the top?

The dimensions are the tops. The bottoms are about 2cm smaller in both directions. Tatay Baobab storage baskets are excellent quality, I have lots of them. They are tough, easy to clean and almost straight up, although not quite.

Can they go in the freezer

Personally, I would say no. I had issues when four were damaged on 3 occasions just by having them delivered, therefore, although they do a good enough job in cupboards and on shelves etc, I would regard them as being brittle and would probably crack at minus 18.

Why does dispatch take so long?

My supplier uses a carrier who charges less if they are given a longer period to deliver logistically
