Rug tape
Really keeps rugs in place. Almost too sticky. Works well on rug on rug. A large roll so lots of tape available. Somewhat hard to remove or adjust once sticky side is unwrapped.

The best! It sticks, no slippage!
Update: I just got another roll, it's that good.First post:I've tried a couple of different types of products for these runner rugs I have on top of carpet. This is by far the best product and it's a keeper. I also tried the optimum technologies RugGrip brand and it was no good. But this brand is excellent. You have to peel off the back layer after putting on the front layer to your area rug. Then you slowly peel the back cover of the tape and lay down the area rug on top of the carpet.Make sure you have your area where I can position and you lay down the way you want it from the start because this stuff will stick. And doesn't seem to stick permanently because you can peel it off but you may get some fuzz along. If you tape all sides it won't be coming up in any way when you are walking on it.Well worth the money, great product!I can see other uses for it around the house since it's so great, double stick tape.

Works great outdoors on composite decking.
Purchased this to hold down stair treads on composite decking. Works great and seems to be holding up well even with lots of rain over the past week. TIP: Do NOT try to cut the tape with scissors, you will drive yourself crazy. It is actually easier to just tear off the amount you need.

String Carpet Tape
I purchased this tape to secure an area rug on my dining room carpet. It sticks so well I actually freaked out because I didn’t think I would get it off of my carpet if ever needed. When I put some muscle into it, I was able to pull it off the carpet. I just wanted to make sure that I could. This is the best double-sided carpet tape I’ve used. #commissioned

Hard to cut!
This carpet tape works very well, and is very sticky, however, it is very wide and difficult to cut into smaller pieces.Next time I will search for a role that is half of the width of this roll. My last roll was much thinner and easier to cut.

If you want a dble sided tape that sticks, THIS is it
Like many others here, I don’t often leave reviews. BUT:Oh my gosh! I really never expected any tape to be this strong. It’s almost too sticky. I’m using it to secure an 8x10 area rug on top of carpet in an apt I’m renting. I tried multiple other options: 2 different kinds of mats you put under a carpet to hold in place. Neither worked. Rug still buckled etc. Tried 3 other dble sided adhesives that were supposed to work. They did not. I placed strips of those tapes all around the under edges but they just didn’t hold this rug in place. By the way, it’s not one of those flimsy, lightweight area rugs. So, I bought 2 boxes of this one. I don’t know why I bought 2! The package info was clear there would be plenty for my use!Anyway, for at least the 4th time since I bought this rug, I rolled it up to begin the process of taping the underside perimeter. I also taped 6’ lengths horizontally, approximately 2’ apart, to help keep this pesky thing in its place. The tape is so sticky it even gummed up my scissors. As I taped the perimeter, I’d unroll a bit more of the rug, place the tape, pull off the paper from top layer, stick it to the carpet & so on.I walked around the perimeter and all over the rug once it was all taped to make sure it would adhere well.Put my dining room table & chairs back in place and the following day thought I’d check just how well this tape works. All I can say is I hope my security deposit will cover the cost of how much the wall to wall carpet gets ripped off the floor if I ever decide to move & take the area rug with me! It REALLY WORKS!!!!

IDEAL for Throw Rug to Carpet
This tape is amazing. Bonded a 6x9 throw rug straight to carpet with zero bubbles or catches to the carpet (taped around perimeter + vertical strips every 12") in the final outcome.Did not need to be weighted down after placement; adherence was instant. No damage to underlying carpet on test removal, but removal took some strength. The grip is solid. There was still leftover tape on the roll after the above measurements of Use *and* a few feet of errors & testing.Apl in all, I'm completely confident that there is no danger of tripping or slippage. It's difficult to find tape that successfully binds fabric to fabric & I didn't think it would be possible without some kind of Velcro product, but this did it, much cheaper & well worth the very reasonable price.
