Certainly these roasted beans and peas and lentils arent for everyone but if you want the simplicity and flavor of the product to shine, these do. Huge crunch and great raw flavor as well as good options to choose additional flavors.

They were ok. I guess they were not my thing.

Here is another tasty, nutritious legume that is hardly ever heard about (and needs some 5-star attention): the lentil. I have tried cooked lentils (a couple of times) in plant-based dishes, but I found them to be a little bland (they were similar to cooked, plain quinoa). But not these crunchy little ones: they are rich and full of flavor, and they are also packed with protein.So far I have only tried the Sea Salt and Vinegar kind - but that’s only because they don’t move very fast in my ‘snack assortment’. That’s because they are an excellent legume to blend with other snacks - I like to toss a handful of these in with some almonds, toasted seeds or even other legumes. They pair well with other crunchy snacks, so that’s why I have only tried one flavor.Like mung beans, lentils have the potential to be used in a variety of foods. They are versatile, super-crunchy and also easy on the stomach. I most certainly look forward to adding this legume to my roster of snacks; although they don’t taste quite like potato chips (which I am trying to eat less of, but it isn’t easy), they are worth the effort of incorporating into the diet. Thank you to the makers of this wonderful snack - I will be buying this again!

Nothing wrong with them, just not our kind of snack or salad topper. Hard.

First tried these in a salad kit at my grocery store. Loved them so much I ordered these. I keep them on hand for salads, but they are tasty and I can see why people would just want to snack on them. In a salad they add protein and crunch, always a good thing.

These are like eating sunflower seeds with the shells still on, but more bland. (I know that they're called "CRUNCHY little lentils", so I'm not surprised that they're crunchy, but it was too much for me.) The flavors are also very bland. "Lightly salted" has almost no saltiness, and without any extra flavoring, I can taste the earthy flavor of the lentils themselves, which works when you add lentils to other dishes, but is mildly unpleasant on its own. The flavorings themselves on salt+vinegar and BBQ were good and at least covered up the lentil flavor, but there wasn't enough flavoring, so the end result was still too bland.They are hearty and low-calorie, but there are better options out there for healthy snacks in my opinion, so I won't buy these again.

I wanted a snack that is a bit less processed and higher protein, that hopefully tastes at least approaching the tastiness and crunchiness of your traditional stuff. These pretty much tick all the boxes, as well as a nice bonus of being grown and made by a Canadian company.First off you have to enjoy the flavor of lentils, which I do. They have been pretty smart and confident here imho by choosing flavor blends that work well with the base lentil flavor and not try to mask it. You are going to taste lentils, but better.All 3 varieties are nice, I like barbecue the most though as garlic and tomato goes very well with cooked lentils and it works just as well here.Satisfying crunch, decent amount of protein and low ingredients list (it's basically lentils, seasoning and sunflower oil). I'd like a lower price, but it's not completely out of order to stop me buying more.

I had very little expectations upon purchase. lentils aren’t sexy, not exciting and not promoted anywhere. We were disappointed by chickpeas from another brand and decided to try out these lentils.The price is a bit high especially after my kids went through the first bag in 2 minutes. I was lucky enough to have a taste on the salt and vinegar flavour, that one took 3 minutes for the family to go through.The favorites were the salt and vinegar and then the Barbecue. Until I can find out on how to do my own, I will definitively be a customer. If it weren’t for the Covid-19, I would use these snacks for my kids’s lunches.Highly recommended and tasty.

I really enjoyed these snacks! The lightly salted was my favourite out of the three flavours I purchased. I usually ate it as an evening snack while watching Netflix. I personally didn't like these in my salads as I preferred eating them alone. They were addicting and I went through the bags much quicker than I thought I would. I craved them for weeks after finishing.I also tried the barbeque chickpea snacks (found at Winners!). I wasn't a fan of those solely based on the flavour as I prefer something salty. Love getting in some extra protein during the day and these make for great snacks for work/school. I kept a bag with me at all times for something quick and tasty.

The flavour is perfect! Not too much, & not too little. Just right! I want to eat the whole bag, lol. As a treat, time to time, I don't mind splurging (sometimes). It's worth it for me. I have recently made a lifestyle change, when it comes to diet. I'm a big snacker, but snacking smart, is more important to me now, then ever. Also love that it's a Canadian company. The flavours were spot on ! I finds the lentils are such a small crunch .. compared say to those flavoured dried corn snacks . The Fava bean sample is a better selection on size …But I found a bit dry the two of them ..BUT MY WIFE LOVED THEM 100 % …She said 5 STARS all the way .So it’s all a taste/bud thing !I’ll use then in salads for sure .
