Really pleased with this extension — it did the job with no hassle and kept the gate just as secure as before. A must-have if your doorway is too wide for the standard gate alone.

Great extension to go with hauck open n stop gate I bought from aldi,(for same price as extension by the way) fits great, I was worried as my stairs are different widths at top from bottom so I had to remove the internal screw and end for it to fit but once pressure screwed in place it's completely solid. Great for keeping boisterous puppy downstairs. I saw another review that said it didn't fit with the aldi gate but it fit mine perfect. Very happy with purchase, only negative I can give is ridiculous packaging it came in, as shown in pic, could have fitted whole gate in there as well, but as an Amazon prime customer I didn't have to worry about this cost with next day delivery would highly recommend.

Well made , however fitting to the walls or door frames requires very accurate alignment .

These are the wrong length for the Clear Step Hauck gates. They are off by a couple millimetres.

I have 2 different style baby gates Lindem & 1st safety and this does not fit either, its taller then both my gates.
