After one walk this leash starting to unravel. It was unreliable and made me very nervous while walking my dog. I just wanted to get back to the car because I was afraid it was just snapped in half. My dog is about 60 pounds, tugs a little but this should’ve been sturdy enough for her that’s what at least said. I just wouldn’t recommend this leash for a medium or large dog or a dog in training. A lightweight dog or an elderly dog that doesn’t pull at all on your leash would be best.

The sturdiness and durability I was expecting was not at all there. The covers over where they GLUED the pieces of the leash together were coming apart when I opened the packaging. The things that slide over those glued areas would not stay in place even after trying to slide them back on and then the glue holding the loops of the leash together started to also come apart. If the dog had been put on that leash and pulled even the slightest it would have broken so it was not useable in anyway and I had to return it. There is always a chance that I just happened to get a faulty one, but I cannot wait and chance getting another one in a similar or same condition because I need a working leash. I am currently training a psychiatric service dog and the equipment has to be fully dependable at all times so I would not recommend this item unless by some random chance I happened to just get a lemon. The handle however does cushion the hand nicely and I would recommend that kind of handle for someone needing extra cushion, just maybe not this specific leash. I’m sorry that this review sounds so horrible. I just wanted to be honest and hopefully in the future other items like this won’t be as faulty.

While training our two dogs to walk without so much pulling, we looked into short leashes to have more control over their movement. We have a Siberian Husky and an Australian Cattle Dog mix, and both of their weights are enough to send me following them wherever they pull rather than me being in control. I often got rope burns from leashes because I was trying to resist as much as I could. This leash has a lot of cushion and comfort and has allowed me to have more control. I use them in combination with harnesses to ensure that they are not choking on their leashes from a much shorter lead.It has also come in handy with leaving them on the harness while at a park that I let them roam around. I can still grab them with the leash if needed but also does not get in their way when they run and go exploring. The colors for the pink and the light blue were exactly as pictured.

I bought this to use when I dogsit my brother's Wheaten terrier. I'm 5'2" and he's 42 lbs and tries to walk me. He of course prefers his long leash, but he did very well with this. It gives you great control of a dog who has to be in control. We walk TOGETHER now. This leash could be a tad longer. The user needs to be closer in height to the dog. My brother is 5'10" and is too tall to use it with his Wheatie. If he had a much taller dog, it'd be fine. Very comfortable, sturdy handle and great quality leash. Very happy I bought this. Walks are enjoyable for both of us. Note- this is not a good leash for poop time...only pee time! Your dog will appreciate it if you remember that.

Just the right size and is excellent for training.The only thing that bugs me is the rubber caps over each end to secure the loop keep sliding off. It happened after the first use. I'll have to see if I can glue them back on. It's such a great leash that I'm willing to overlook the annoyance.The padding around the hand loop is great, and there is no stretch in it, so it keeps my dog from pulling.Overall, if you don't mind the rubber caps sliding up and down, it'sa great leash. I would definitely buy it again.

Great leash, but I should have bought a shorter one to better train my 6 mth old 80lb AB to walk right next to me rather than in front of me.CON: the only minor issue is that I use the rubber rope attachments to help me grip the leash when he tries to run to other dogs but they keep sliding up (upper rubber cap) or down (lower rubber cap). It is rather irritating, but I will continue to use the leash until I can find a replacement.

Overall this is a really good product for the price. Works great and is very strong. You really can't go wrong with this leash. Only issue I had was on both leashes that I purchased the little plastic cover came loose, otherwise it gets five stars. Not a big deal. Really easy to fix just put a little glue on it. Has nothing to do with the strength of the leash. I would buy this product again without hesitation.

I have 2 dogs a frenchie and a mini Aussie. Both of my girls pull when being walked. We live in a heavy traffic area I got two of these leashes to walk both at the same time1000% life changer! I feel like I have more control over my girls and feel safer walking them using this leash! It works wonders especially if your dog likes to lunge at on coming traffic or other people walking!

I LOVE this leash. It has been a miracle in training my puppy loose leash walking. I actually plan to use this all the time. It keeps her close, prevents extreme pulling and even just switching to this without other tools helped a lot. My shoulder thanks leash!
