DR. DRE-CHRONIC RE-LIT

I recently picked up this remaster from a used reseller and I'm glad I did. The sound quality trumps all other versions of the chronic. Played on a high end system you will hear bits and pieces of the music that you haven't noticed before. It's a shame Dre didn't allow this stay out for longer cuz its far superior than the normal version you find in stores these days. As far the xtras go, they are easily forgotten. The videos are cool but you can find em on YouTube (along with the unreleased tracks) realistically this version is for people who want the highest quality sounding version of the Chronic. It's a shame we aren't still getting stuff from the vault. For a few years we had some very good death row music that had never been heard.

Brings back good memories, although the language bothers me a lot more now. I guess that's the lifestyle, though. Excellent.

When you put the dvd in the dvd player you have 4 choices on the menu, music videos, rare videos and promos. The music videos have the same 4 videos from the singles on the chronic, but what makes them different is that you can choose to play the uncensored versions of the videos which might not block out the language but for instance on nothing but a g' thang it doesn't block out the hats or the female nudity.The rare videos is a dr dre interview as well as a video entitled shootoutUnder promos it shows 6 or 7 promos for the chronic album as well as 6 or 7 commercials for the cd as well. The final piece on the promos is a trailer for the saigon video.The extra songs on the dvd can only be viewed with a dvd rom drive on your computer.Anyway hope this clears stuff up and I think the dvd part makes this worth it alone to see the uncensored videos in all their glory.

This is a re-release of Dr. Dre's The Chronic. This is more than just that. This comes with a DVD with uncensored versions of music videos and rare footage. There are also a few unreleased songs by Snoop Dogg, CPO, etc. The unreleased songs are really dope. Definitely worth a buy.

A classic to some, but really that whole era was full of garbage music. Dre is a known gay and Snoop is a known antichrist. So I guess if you're into that, great for you.

Ok prouduct pretty damaged for the price. Price seemed a little to much for this prouduct due to this being an old album
