Great piece of equipment. Commercial gym quality. Bar rests are great, you don't have to worry about missing them when you are finishing a set of curls. Most of the other preacher benches require you to screw around getting the curl bar on their rests after completing a set. Difficult to do when your are fatigued at the end of a set of reps.Arm pad is very wide and solid. Your elbows don't slide off one end or the other during exercise. I tried a cheaper one and it was a waste of money.Worth every cent!

This a high quality piece of equipment!I looked for months to find a decent gym quality preacher curl bench. After doing a LOT of research and almost buying something a lot more expensive, I found this awesome curl bench. After just 30 minutes of easy set up, it was ready for use. It arrived very quickly and I would not change a single thing about it. This is definitely worth the money! Hoist products will definitely exceed your expectations. I have been looking for a preacher curl to complete my home gym for several years. I came accross the Hoist Fitness one recently and it looked as good as a commercial gym model. It arrived quickly and well packaged - packing was even environmentally friendly. It took about an hour to set up and the directions were clear. I was impressed by the heavy gauge steel and how well it is made.I have did arm curls 3 times on it and find the angle to be just right and the ergonomics great. The cushion is amply thick. Very happy with this preacher curl!

Although a good value, I was hoping for a thicker gauge steel. I was pleasantly surprised that the construction doubles up the steel at what would otherwise be vulnerable points. I would buy it again.

This curl station has such awkward angles no matter where I set the seat the arm pad is just not comfortable and the angle of the arm pad is terrible. This was one thing in my home gym I wish I could replace I hardly use it because it’s so uncomfortable. It even causes elbow issues on both arms when I force myself to curl on it, by putting so much pressure on the triceps because of the angle of the pad creating a single point of contact instead of even spread pressure. Over all poor design tragic cause they obviously used high quality materials. It also doesn’t stay very stationary when in use to light and slides on my mats. The “foot rest” would only be functional for someone 5’4” or shorter. Over all I hate this item I have owned if for over a year now so I’ve given it plenty of time and effort to try and make it work. There are better cheaper options out there.

Solid unit. Great design. Very easy to move around if need be.
