Kreg NZ03-B Drawer Mounting Brackets

This item is Very Helpful, not only on Drawer Sliders, but Drawers, Boxes, Shelves, Etc.(Anything Squared) These have helped me a lot today to help keep all of my corners Squared. You can also Clamp them to the Corners of Squared items as the glue Dries(Just make sure not to have excess glue on the Brackets themselves)Since the Plastic that these are made out of of is very Strong. They also function well in the use of holding boards together when Measuring for Corners, Drawer Length, Etc. In My Opinion: A Must Have For anyone working With Cabinets, Drawers, Boxes, Shelves, Etc

Excellent tools.Very handy to have around and the job much easier and more accurate.Very worth the low price.Light weight and durable plastic construction, easy to carry and wont rust , ding nor dent.Sharp blue color also make it stand out against a sea of black, grey and reds in your tools bag.

When I first bought these brackets, I got them because they were priced well. I wasn't really sure how how much use I would get out of them. Now, I would not attempt to install a drawer or drawers without them. I find them highly useful and indespensible. They are well designed and easy to use. I highly recommend.

After installing metallic drawer-slides on the inner-sides of your cabinet (helps to use the Kreg NZ03 magnetic drawer-slide mounting tool), these doo-dads make precise placement of the drawer-box a snap, and they hold it in place while you drive the screws through the slide extensions into the drawer-box. Ingenious, and easy to use.

I bought these with the Kreg NZ03 Magnetic Drawer Slide Mounting Tool to help replace some old roller slides with ball bearing full extension drawer slides. I found that these worked fine if you had plenty of clearance but did not work well on bottom drawers where you had trim as you could not get them front flush. This is where I discovered that a 5 gallon paint stick has the same height. I simply pushed the paint stick all the way in to the back of the drawer and under the cabinet inside mounting bracket, placed the drawer on top with a slight bit exposed and put in the screws as the drawer was level side to side, leaving room to adjust with the adjuster slots as needed.I am giving this tool a 3 review because it will not solve all of your needs. I think a design flaw is that the rear part of support that goes under the inside mounting bracket is too short. It should be able to almost support itself and the drawer without necessarily being clamped (understanding that it would be recommended to be clamped of course). I did 12 drawers and out of the 12 I used this tool on only 5. Once I discovered the paint stick method it was quicker and cleaner.All in all, I would not buy this again if I had to do it all over but it does work in some cases.

So, I am awful at mounting drawer slides. Heck, I am only mediocre at anything involving right angles. Yet these very simple hard plastic brackets yielded a surprisingly awesome chest of drawers, new tool chest, and full extension drawers on all my rolling cabinetry in the Wood Shop (aka back third of the garage).Sure you can cut MDF height guides, but who needs the scraps and extra lung-killing dust. A level, two clamps, and these brackets made everything repeatable and easy.

This is just a gadget that does not give you accurate results. The only way to set up drawer glides is to use a piece of a squared off board (MDF, plywood, melmar) for the drawer slide to rest on Being dead on square assures the drawer slide is perpendicular to the frame Start from the top and work your way down, cutting the board as you go. Also, make a little jig to help you center the screw hole on the inside frame of the drawer. Make the hole just large enough to catch the attaching screw. That assures each slide equally hits the end stop.

Kreg makes very well thought out quality products and this one is no different. It meets a specific need of anyone installing drawers.Unfortunately for me the Kreg packaged product that I received from Amazon contained two right side mounting brackets so I contacted Amazon and they did an immediate replacement. The replacement that I received had two right side mounting brackets also. At that point I returned the product and haven't reordered yet. I will do so once the channel has enough time to clear itself of the mismatched product.I highly recommend anything that Kreq makes as they produce products of excellent quality and durability.

Bought these along with some other Kreg products, as I was doing a few projects and thought these would come in handy.While they are a good jig to help mount brackets, they aren’t entirely needed to install drawers. Makes it easier and fairly quick, so I’ll give it four stars...but loses a star cause I could have just cut a few plywood spacers.

I've used these on these drawers. They worked very well. I should be noted that you need two face clamps (1 for each) to make these work.I gave them four stars because I realized how simple they were and I could have probably improvised a jig quite easily out of some hobby stick and pocket hole screws for my purpose.
