A book for violin beginner

Having played the violin many years ago, I was looking for a suitable book when I took up the instrument again. The book is fantastic and I'm flying through it. I find it very informative and easy to follow. The cd is good with the accompanying songs to listen to, then it has the backing tracks to play along with also.

Got delivery on time and it is exactly what I needed.

cd does not work in all machines i have tried

wish I'd found this 20 years ago, not much instruction it it you will need a Suzuki teacher probably or be quite competent or know someone who is to get your form correct

I wish I paid that bit extra and bought the non-digital version because when you zoom in on the pictures they just get blurrier, I cannot see the fingers or small text on any of the doagrams which is what I wanted the book for in the first place

I bought this for my 4 year old as instructed by her violin teacher. It comes with a CD (apparently not all do come with CDs). Not much to say on it as it's for my child but looking through it seems very good and gives a good intro prior to playing the violine for little ones!

As a complete beginner this is a great book - and as a 19 year old it's still useful for me to get the basics. The CD is also really useful for showing you the beats so completely worth the price.
