In this age in which comic books have become political, stories are dark and gloomy, it's nice to be able to go back to a time when comics were fun and entertaining.This collection of vintage Legion stories will remind you why you used to read comics. The good old days!

This is a very nice collection of stories starting in April 1958. These are the key stories of who the Legion of Super-Heroes were and how they did things in the early days. If you have been reading modern comics and are tired of having to read 12 issues and 10 spin offs just to finish one story, I recommend stepping back in time and reading stories that took 10 to 10 pages to get the story done.The collection is very well printed and binding looks to be done very well and should hold up over time.I would also recommend this for children of reading age. These stories were good when I was 10 and are still good today!

Not much of a story… ended up returning it

I read some of these classic tales way back then, but this compilation has many that I missed at the time. Some do still hold up well, while others are hopelessly dated. The trip down memory line was definitely worth it for me. THKS

I had, at one time, a lot of the old Adventure comics, but never owned the really early ones! This is a great way to catch up on all the stories that no one has enough money to purchase in the original comics! RP

This was just a lot of fun. Reading these stories reminded me of the digest-sized reprints they put out when I was a kid. Reproduction in the digital form was very good, particularly for relatively old material.

Old school story telling and artwork. I loved it.

I purchased this in a fit of nostalgia. I forgot how simplistic were these stories written in the early years of DC comics. Only has historical value or for pre-teen, white boys.

These stories relive my youth. (I am probably older than most of it's resders.) I cannot fault the stories. Its good to read a story that has an ending. In my opinion much better than modern stories that run over many issues. The only fault is in the book itself. It was not bound even. There are ridges along the edge of the book.
