Keeping my Old G2
The original Defender I bought on the day I purchased my phone (like 4 years ago) was barely held together. The tabs holding the inner case together were all broken off and the case was held together by the outter rubber shell. I drop my phone on a weekly, if not daily, basis. But the phone itself is still pristine thanks to the Otter Box. I figured I would try replacing the battery to give my phone new life... and since that actually worked I came back to replace the Otter Box. The new one came quickly and in original packaging and only cost 13 bucks. Whats not to like?I remember not being sure about the case design and the built in screen protector but it didn't take long for me to get used to it. I watched videos comparing the Otter Box to other brands but in the end it came down to the results my original Defender gave me.Now my LG G2 is pretty much like the day I bought it. Yeah, I'm happy with this purchase. Thumbs up to the seller and to Otter Box and their Defender Case.

Great case!
The OtterBox Defender for LG G2 phone provides secure protection for your phone. My phone has survived several inadvertent drops over the last two years with the Defender keeping the screen crack free. As good as the Defender is, it is not waterproof; so it won't protect your phone if you drop it in water. I would have rated the case 5 stars however, I feel that the screen protector would be better if it attached directly to the screen. As it is now, the screen protector is part of the front cover and leaves a gap between it and your screen. Although this does not affect functionality, it does allow dust and debris to settle in the gap. Despite this minor shortcoming I would highly recommend the OtterBox Defender.

Belt Clip does not hold case securely
Ordered case through Amazon last November 25th, received about December 5th. Case is well designed and well made - no complaints about that. The problem is that the belt clip's hold on the case is not very secure. one must be careful to get a full locking-click when putting the case in the clip and, even then, if the case gets pressure from some angles, as often happens to me when getting out of the car, and occasionally elsewhere , the case (and phone, of course,) hit the ground. The case itself has prevented any actual damage, so far, though a lot has been the luck of where it has fallen. One time the case silent fell out as I was getting into the car. The phone slipped between the driver's seat and the central console. When I reached for the phone to send a text, it just wasn't there! I panicked and spent about a half hour tracing my steps since I'd last used it, including crawling around in the parking lot on my hands and knees wondering if I'd find it crushed or if someone might have walked off with it. Found it only on my third re-searching of the car.I have written to Otterbox suggesting that they produce an alternative belt-clip in the form of a nylon mesh case with magnetic closure flap, that would more securely hold the Defender case. It would be helpful for me if they also included accommodation for a Bluetooth and stylus, but that's secondary. Gotta say, I had some problems with their website. Their messaging system has an unrealistically low character limit and doesn't give you a character count as you write - it just keeps rejecting your submission until you prune it down far enough. They also offer a downloadable "How to use your case" pdf file but you can't actually download it until you approve installation of a specific version of Adobe, version 11.x. I didn't want to take the time to read their EULA so I went to my Adobe, ver 10.x and checked for updates: there were none! All-in-all, a very mixed experience.

Protection you can count on
I was riding my bike with my head phones plugged into the jack. I was riding at a good 20-25 MPH, and I knocked my phone off my hip, and when I picked it back up, it was still running and had no cracks or scratches. It didn't even reboot from jostling the contacts on the battery. I was really impressed.I have previously only bought cheap silicone bumper type cases, though this is the fist time I actually knew how much the phone costs. Usually my service provider included it in my bill. These are almost $700 phones, so spend the money and have peace of mind. This case is great for people that care for their phones and don't drop them in the toilet or loose them. I don't pay for phone insurance and wanted something that could prevent damage so I wouldn't need to pay the premium for insurance. Even with insurance, the deductible is still higher than this case.

Best case you will ever buy seriously
Best case you will ever buy seriously. Would you rather spend $40-$60 for a case or $200 for a new screen/LCD? Or $600 for a new phone all together?! I've dropped my phone down concrete stairs, off of a roof, into a toilet, into mud, into snow, and on assualt and tile a million times. Once I take it out of the case it literally looks exactly the same as it did the first day I got it brand new out of the box. I'm really sick of people saying that it's to big and bulky. Sure, it makes your phone slightly larger and it can be mildly annoying at times. But it's worth it to me to still have an absolutely pristine phone!

Excellent case, without protective screen
At first, I bought the Poetic Slimbook, good case but not enought protection with childrens and I don't like to always put the phone in my pocket, I prefer with a belt clip, so I bought the OtterBox Defender for my Lg G2 from Videotron (same as t-mobile) to try it. My girlfriend already have a Defender for her Iphone 4s and she really like this product. The version for LG G2 is very good, a lot of people complaint about the screen protective was bad, there's a gap, etc. and it's true. It's unusable with it. I remove it after 2 min of use(very easy to remove) and use a stick screen protection instead (like the commuter) but you have to buy it separately.I now have what I wanted, a good protection case with belt clip and no impact of the touch screen.Other thing : Not very easy to install the first time, there's no instruction to open it.-----------------------Vraiment un bon boitier pour le LG G2 si vous chercher un modèle qui protège bien le téléphone contre les chutes et qu'on peut l'attacher à la ceinture.

Buy it if you plan to use the phone for a Long time!!
I purchased this case after using the spigen case for a while. I didn't feel the spigen case was protecting my investment. Then I came across the otterbox and decided to give it a go. There is a hard shell case around the phone's back. Then a hard shell rectangular lining case which fits from the front on the edges and covering the screen with a inbuilt screen guard (more on that later). Then there is a thick rubbery shell which again covers from back and it covers the edges also.Solid Protection. It already fell at least 4 or 5 times from my hands. Two times was on tarred Indian roads. Nothing happened!! Not even a mark or a ding. USB ports and microphone jacks well covered. I mean, the moment you have the phone inserted in this case, you can kind of feel for yourself that the phone is well protected.Cons:1) You will never be able to appreciate or even seen the beautiful and well constructed LG G2 anymore. The phone will look like a large tank.2) The inbuilt screen guard completely ruins the beautiful screen of LG G2. There is a gap between the screen guard and the screen. This badly affects the touch response. IN THE END, I REMOVED IT MANUALLY FROM THE CASE.3) The phone will weight like anything and I struggle to fit it inside my tight jeans.Well, I already knew all about this cons before I purchased it. So no regrets on it. Occasionally, I remove the case and use the phone for a while without the case just to feel the magnificent LG G2 in my hands.

Der stete Tropfen höhlt den Stein...
Tja, was soll ich sagen.

Solid case with screen sensitivity fixed?
My largest concern was screen sensitivity everyone has been mentioning, there is a gap between the cover and the screen, which I wish would sit flush, but the phone still responds 100% to every touch. Cover on the back lines up with the power and volume buttons so everything works great. Be prepared for a significant increase to the weight and bulk of the phone which is to be expected for this level of protection

Also Handy rein da und antesten.
