Great color and brightness for red christmas lights. I have never gotten red only lights until these and we love them. Great color, great brightness they are a perfect fit for any house looking to add some holiday spirit.

I am the LED king in my world and 7sed many rope lights. If you don't do neon then these are the better quality and bright. Now I'll see what happens 1 year from now when all the others failed me out doors

We have had these up for about a year and a half and they have been great. We use them outdoors and they hold up to the beach air and rain. About 6 months ago we noticed they were dimming, and now they no longer light up the deck. For the price, I was surprised they lasted as long as they did. We will be buying these again

Many years ago I bought a hot tub to install in the deck of my first house. The experience created a desire to purchase another one when I moved into my new house some 20+ years ago. Unlike the first house, which was in a somewhat rural area and not proximal to neighbors, my current house is in a suburban subdivision. Naturally, I wanted some degree of privacy when using it because I don't really interact with my neighbors and don't want the obligation of having to wave to them from the tub should they pass by. This necessitated the erection of a privacy fence around the concrete pad I had to have poured to hold the tub. Now, my eyesight isn't great and since I often use the tub in the morning hours when it's still dark, I could easily trip or stumble if I didn't have some kind of light source. This is maybe the 3rd iteration of rope lights I bought over time to hang around the interior of the privacy fence so I don't trip and break something. To that end, it's ideal. However, I am lazy when it comes to outdoor projects and I still have to actually hang the brackets off the fence, which is still very much on my honey do list. Fortunately, the lights come on this handy reel so I can still plug it in and get the light I need until my wife gets so irritated with the situation that she either hangs them up herself or makes me do it. As a bonus, somebody told me a long time ago that red lights won't impact your night vision as much as other colors so I don't trip trying to get back into the house through the garage (which has no rope lights).

Used to place around deck by pool. Good price for quality of lights. Will buy another set to extend lighting around deck now that I saw them up. Would have given 5 stars but 50’ set came with only 15 very flimsy, small clamps and tiny screws for hardware. Rather useless hardware. Good purchase but need to invest in better clamps to mount.

Love these light so much I bought four strands. The color at night is surreal and creates a fairy like quality. Beautiful color. It creates a lovely ambience. Highly recommend !

Needed to illuminate a dark corner of our back patio which has a staircase. I’ve tried landscape lights, spotlights, individual solar lights for each step which have all been insubstantial. The rope lights look great and give bright illumination. An easy and inexpensive solution. I just zip-tied the rope lights along starircase railings, ran a heavy duty extendsion cord to an outdoor plug and put it on an outdoor timer so they are automatically on and off.
