Easy to close
I like this product. I am new to this hobby and have only played with the Midwest products Chain maille kits that Amazon sells. I find those rings are difficult to close. These rings close fairly easily compared to those. Someone who is more experienced may have an even easier time then I did. These are shiny and look to be of good quality as far as I can tell from my limited experience. I will say that if you are looking to create fine jewelry, you don't want aluminum. You probably want silver, bronze, gold, or anodized Niobium. You can get all of the above from The Ring Lord or Blue Buddha (more expensive but in the US). For me, these are perfect to learn with. There are many weaves I have to learn and doing it with aluminum is best because it's cheaper. I love that I got so many for a great price. It works out to about less than 3/10 of a cent per ring. I weighed the bag of rings and I got 17 ounces. A pound is 16 ounces, so I got more than what I paid for. Always a good deal. Bottom line is that for a beginner or someone experimenting with a new weave, these are perfect. Great quality, great price, and easy to work with. I will buy more when I run out of these. My only wish is that he would come out with colors or a variety of sizes.

Good Quality
I purchased 6 of these over time for my first chainmail project, a full chainmail hauberk for a Ren Faire costume. The jump rings were great quality, I’d maybe find 1 faulty ring in an entire bag! There even is a small guide provided for weaves and ring sizing. It was a great product that helped introduce me to this world and I look forward to making a lot more because of it!

Amazing rings
I have bought quite the number of jump rings from different locations. I am used to the Bright Aluminum ones to have just a slight higher shine than the Stainless Steel. However, these ones almost seem to be silver rings from the brightness they have. They are still clearly aluminum from their color, but their luster is amazing. They make great pieces and honestly their aspect ratio is perfect for most popular weaves. So overall, if I could I would give them much more than just 5 stars. Granted they are a little pricey, but for the amount you get and their quality, they are worth every penny. Anyone who is getting into chain maille, I strongly recommend these. They'll make wonderful projects and you'll really be encouraged at how easy they are to work with. Anyone who is more advanced and has been doing this for a while, I still strongly recommend these. Their shine will surprise you, they have zero residue when you wear them for long periods of time, they are perfectly cut, and very easy to work with. They also feel very light weight which is a plus for more delicate pieces.

Chainmail anyone
These rings are an excellent choice for anyone learning the art of chainmail. They offer a perfect balance of durability and ease of use, making them ideal for a variety of projects. While they may not be suitable for crafting armor chainmail due to their smaller size or specific material, they are perfect for creating intricate bracelets, necklaces, and other jewelry pieces. Their lasting quality ensures that your creations will stand the test of time, allowing you to hone your skills and explore your creativity without worrying about premature wear or breakage. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned chainmail enthusiast, these rings are sure to become a staple in your crafting arsenal.

Excellent quality and easy to work with jump rings
The media could not be loaded. I chose the 9/32 18 SWG jump rings for a women’s small chainmail shirt/dress. What you see here is 10,000 rings so far and we will be making a higher neckline and long sleeves so probably another 5,000 rings will go into it. Collectively, our 3 person group has put about 100 hours into this project and I’m guessing we will put in close to 40 more to finish it. So if you are doing it alone or with a group, plan the time it will take with your schedule because this is intense! The way this size jump ring with the 6.2 aspect ratio just forms to the body when you use European 4 in 1 is amazing. What you see on the dress form is a cylinder with a square cut out on the bottom and rectangle straps on top. Everything is completely straight as far as the pattern goes but as soon as you put it on a body or the dress form, it flows almost like a slinky material. I’m obsessed and would love to make chain mail dresses if I survive this armor shirt lol. Happy crafting!

Good, but not perfect jump rings
Quality: 4/5The rings are nicely cut, but some do have small burrs or rough edges. Still nice saw-cut rings, but not perfect. I have not found very many defective rings, either (1 out of ~300). I have also bought rings from other makers, some better, some worse. West coast chainmail makes the cleanest rings I've bought.Cost: 5/5Rings are on par with other sellers costs. The only reason they got 5/5 is because if you order enough, Amazon will throw in the shipping, saving you about $5 on your purchase. Otherwise, they would be comparable to ringlord or West Coast Chainmail.Other thoughts:The rings are just fine for most chainmail projects and are the most cost effective I have found (apart from DIY). One thing I don't like is that there is some aluminum dust in with the rings, like they were not deburred well enough or that shavings got mixed in with the rings. It's not a big deal, just makes your fingers a little dirty when you're working with them. Might need to rinse them off before wearing anything.

Great vendor - great product
I've purchased many items from Chainmail Joe and am always very pleased. The rings are bright, easy to use, and have very few unusable rings. The customer service is great as well. I highly recommend!

Very nice jumprings
Joe's Chainmail great company. Jumprings look wonderful and plentiful for a reasonable price. The card enclosed on jumpring size and weave patterns is invaluable.
