The cat loves it and complains when it's turned off on a cold day. It helps us save on heating bills. We can keep the house at 64 deg F and not worry about our elder cat suffering from the cold. It uses only a bit of electricity. It gets slightly warm, just enough to feel toasty. I tossed the polyester cover and use it with a cotton flannel pillowcase.The LED indicator lights are too damn bright. I covered them with dimming stickers.You can set it to shut off automatically after 4, 8, 12 hours, or remain on. In the always on setting, it stays on for about a week before it shuts off.Edited to add: It has worked reliably for 9 months and counting. The cat used it every day for 6 months over the cold season.

I absolutely love this cat heating pad—and more importantly, so does my cat! I had a different one before without a timer, so I really appreciate that I can now control the heat and set a shutoff time. It never gets too hot, just warm and cozy. I left it out for a day and eventually my cat gave in—and now it’s his favorite place to curl up when there’s no sun in the window. Highly recommend if you’re looking to spoil your furry little companion!

Oh my spoiled princess Missy just loves this. I have 2 of them. At the foot of my bed where she lives to lay, I put this in the covers for her and she LOVES it. She will get in it and when it starts warming, she will groom and then she's out like a light. It's funny now because if I don't have this out when she jumps up on the bed, she will literally just stand there, looking at me then the floor, where I keep it under the bed. When I reach under the bed, she squeaks and then moved back to allow room for me to place it. It's VERY easy to understand . The controls are so easy. The heat control is from 1 to 6, I keep it on 3. There is a 4,8,12 and 24 hour timer too. I always keep it on 4 hours. Easy in and off button. It's very very soft and the cover is washable. The power cord is long enough too. This is really a safe and reliable item, that's why I have 2 of them. If you find that your unit is blinking during use, check the plug. I find that when the plug comes loose in the socket, it blinks. It's a nice safety feature. Great item and I have tried 2 other heating pads for my girl and they didn't measure up to the quality of this one. Missy fits perfectly in it too. She's about 11 pounds(a full figured gal) and all of her fits perfectly. It's also pretty too.

This was purchased Dec 3rd. however this was a gift, and now today this is not working, I've tried plugging it into another wall and nothing, seems to be dead? But it appears even tho it did not get used till after Dec 25th, I've ran out of time, I ordered 2 of this product, the other one seems to be fine so far. This was a gift for an older dog but now she has no heating pad, I have no way of reaching the company cos of the expired time line, but for most of Dec this was wrapped up for a gift. Just be careful I guess where you buy, cos some don't back up what they sell!UPDATE: Company has reached out to me and are willing to fix this purchase. This also I have learned has a 12 month warranty which I didn't see. I'm glad as my pets rely on this pad to help them to feel better and ease their pain!Thank you Carol

The bed doesn't seem to get very warm even on the highest setting, which is quite unfortunate. It is also not very thick and feels more like a wad of cardboard covered in silk. I will say that it is very soft, though, and my cat still seems to like it, so I'll give it 3 stars. The outside appearance is decent; the cream color is light and goes well with my decor. I can't comment on the durability as I've only had it for a few days, but based on other reviews, something tells me it won't last very long..I'd say it's probably not worth the price, but everything is expensive nowadays anyway...

We’ve had this for several weeks and seems to work very well for our arthritic kitty. It replaces an old “people” heating pad that he has used for 4 years. He goes to this one every night. I agree it needs a different fabric cover. The very thin “velvety” cover it comes with does not mask the bumps and ribs within the pad.So far I believe it’s worth the money and I would buy again…in 4 years. I’ll edit this review if it does not hold up.
