Good lightweight cart
This cart is small enough that the other bus passengers won't gripe at you yet large enough to carry at least 2-3 bags of groceries (the brown paper bag sizes). My only thing was that I would put too much weight in it when progresso soups were on BOGO and then not get the ramp to get off the bus. The back axel broke after a year. I was going to order a replacement part, but it's price was almost as much as the cart, so I purchased something else as these carts were not in stock at that time. That one I purchased I returned immediately and eventually ended up buying one already put together from a grocery store in the area. This Drive Winnie is a good cart though - just don't over-load it!

This is the one I should have bought the first time.
This cart has only one fault - the odd "Winnie Wagon" name plate on the front of the cart. The wheels are sturdier than those on more expensive carts I have purchased, used & had fall apart on me in the past. Indeed, I have not used a cart such as this for almost 15 years because in the 8 years previous, I went through about 6 carts that all failed. I was fed up & swore never again. However, a change in health necessitated a change in perspective. I have purchased other equipment from Drive Medical, so I thought this was worth a try. Drive Medical has yet to disappoint. Either pushing it from behind or pulling it behind me, it has the structural integrity to travel smoothly over uneven sidewalks. I routinely transport about 60 pounds of groceries with no effort. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only cart of this type that has an adjustable handle. This is very handy. I am 5' 3" tall. I can set the cart handle at the shorter setting & it is a nigh on perfect height to push it in from of me. With the handle adjusted to the taller setting, it is very easy to tip it on to the back wheels only & pull behind. The Winnie Wagon (what is up with that name?) really is the superior choice for an all-purpose cart.

Highly recommended for weekly trips to the store, laundry or to just help save your back around the house!!
I have constantly used this for about 7 years. I had back surgery and couldn't really lift or carry anything but wanted to walk to do things to try to stay mobile. I have seriously put a lot of grocery and laundry in this Winnie Wagon and do not know what I would have done without it. It is still if fantastic condition. I walked in all kinds of weather a LOT the last few years and made weekly grocery and laundry trips with it. I had to replace on of the metal wheel pins ONCE and chose to buy bigger wheels for the back because I wore out the ones on it. Expected after 7 years of hard use on sidewalks and streets. It folds down easily to put it under a grocery basket and if you put stuff in it right it can carry quite a bit. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs one and it is about $30 CHEAPER now that when I bought it. The ONLY problem I had was when I contacted the company for info on where to buy more wheels or a replacement they NEVER emailed me back. Seriously still recommend it though!

AWESOME for the Price
This was such a great steal! This cart (although small) can hold a bunch of stuff, and it's super sturdy. Was by far some of the best money we spent because we live on the 5th floor and I assure you, carting bags up by hand from the car was NOT fun. We get compliments all the time on how nice it is to see a smaller one working so well. I will say that I agree completely with the others, the instructions on putting the wheels on were pretty confusing and it took me a while to figure out exactly how to do it, plus with the two extra pieces we thought we made a mistake! Aside from that, it is well worth-it. Buy this item if you just need a little help moving that laundry or for your shopping needs- beware though, you can't go walking around outside a lot with this on the pavement without pulling it on the two large wheels behind you. The cracks and bumps on the sidewalk/ street make it impossible to push it on all four wheels in front of you, so if you're using it for support while walking outside, this is not the cart for you. Happy carting!

Just what I needed
I bought this cart so that I could turn it into a cleaning cart. By cutting down an over-the-door shoe bag and attaching it to the sides of the cart I now have a handy-dandy cleaning cart that holds my cleaning supplies, a laundry basket and and everything I need for cleaning house. I have a 2 story 5 bedroom house and this cart makes it easy for me to tote my cleaning stuff from room to room. I was looking for a sturdy cart that would fit in my cleaning closet. This one fits the bill.I got the red color because red is awesome and my favorite color and I figure if I have to clean house I might as well enjoy my fav color on the cart.Cart was easy to put together, although my husband did it for me as I was busy and he offered. But he said it was easy and had it all done.Husband and kids can roll the cleaning cart too...and trust me they do!

Better Wheels Would Greatly Improve
I purchased one 1yr ago. Was not "medical." This one seems a bit heavier and hopefully sturdier. I had one previous to that that lasted over 20 yrs. Biggest reason had to be the wheels, which were 100% rubber. The wheels on this one seem to be more plastic than rubber. A quality rubber wheel of substance will roll over a small pebble. Another plastic-like wheel screeches to a cart rattling halt. That is hard on the structure of the cart and makes usual progress down a sidewalk unpredictable. Even a twig (a 3in twig...not a limb or a branch) will impede progress. The axle broke on the 1yr old cart. I do hope this one does better. When I'm able I plan to have the wheels swapped out for a better quality wheel.
