Revlon Toenail Nipper, Heavy Duty

My husband had a pair of Revlon toenail clippers that lasted over 10 years. They were done in when the orthodontist had me clip my son's wire that had popped. Since they had been so great and lasted so long I tried to find clippers by Revlon that were as similar as possible. So far these do a great job. They are smaller than the last pair which is why I left off a Star. My husband has large hands and likes things that fit more for him, but he hasn't really complained about these which is saying something, because he can be very picky. These do have nice side grips which the other pair did not. Hopefully they will last just as long.

I have bought toenail clippers of different brands, none were as good as these are. First, with the Revlon toenail clippers, the cutting area is a good size and curved just the right amount. I have gotten other brands that don't have a curved cutting area or the curve is off somehow. They did a terrible cutting job. These other brands bent the toenail to the clippers straight shape, which causes the toenail to tear when you cut it. The result from using these other brands is a jagged, rough nail - ugh. Also the quality of the Revlon toenail clippers is better, it seems to me. I like the spring. I like the weight of the clippers. I like the ability of the cutting area to cut. When I cut the toenail with the Revlon, it is cut through. With some of the other brands, when I cut, it only goes part way through and I have to keep trying until I can get it through. With the Revlon, one cut and I'm through it, without a struggle.these are the BEST toenail clippers ever.

I bought one of these many years ago, many. They have been great for over 30 years and I’m sure would be great today, now with arthritis my hands can’t squeeze the handles. I totally recommend these to younger hands. Great cutters.

These are hard to find. I don't know if Revlon still makes them. Mine arrived sealed in the original package, but the package looked a bit shop worn and the whole thing was in another bag. I'm guessing the secondary seller bought them at a close out. That said, they are fine, and really work. For people who have - ahem - tough toenails, these work.

I'm going to give this nipper an okay rating only because it's a good Revlon brand. My problem with these nippers is they are too small to clip my nails easily and completely. They are probably fine for small nails and to clip overgrown cuticles.I've been using a nice large (made in Germany) Revlon Nipper for many years and it still works okay but it is not as sharp as 30 years ago and the center spring is definitely worn and doesn't expand fully anymore. I just wanted a new large nail nipper to hopefully last another 30 years. I thought this was the large size...I was wrong. I will have to look for the larger nippers.

My mom is elderly and lives with me. We have had a difficult time cutting her toe nails. Her nails had grown too long and very hard. She was afraid to get them cut. We soaked her feet in warm, soapy water for fifteen minutes and then I gently proceeded to cut her nails. These Revlon toenail clippers work wonderfully. In no time at all, she was smiling and feeling much better. I would also like to comment on "Health and Beauty". The clippers arrived quickly, in excellent condition, and for a reasonable price. I was afraid that I would have to spend a lot of money that I really couldn't spare. These are definitely worth the price. Thank you for helping me out.

I have super thick toe nails that used to take me twenty minutes to groom. This nipper cut them like a knife through butter. It took me less then 5 minutes to groom them with this nipper. The only complaint I have is that it looks like these clippers had been removed from the sealed packaging before shipment. The plastic that is glued to the cardboard was completely removed. Kind of creepy thinking that they might have been used.

I have been looking for a pair of heavy duty nail clippers for toe nails. We have one, but it is very old and before it "breaks" (if that is possible since it has lasted this long!) I finally found almost the exact same product. Is heavy duty, clips nails beautifully. Exactly what I was looking for.

For the price remember it can be used for big toe only. Other toes are too small for this clipper. But it does cut big toe nale beautifully. I have very thick toe nails and it does the job perfectly.

Very well made product, better than 2 others that I tried from Amazon which were cheaper. Good heavy duty nipper with a good grip. Requires strong pressure to open and close the release.

On the expensive side, but cuts well. You still need both a large size nail cutter plus this Nipper to getthe job done. Good for senior citizens.
