Great for broken slots
The Viofo A139 dashcam's SD card slot can be delicate and may malfunction if not handled carefully. I lost a memory card, and when I tried to use a new one, I faced that the slot is not working anymore. This adapter is larger than a micro SD card and I fixed it into the broken slot. Now, I can use the dashcam without issues.

Necessary for shallow SD slots
Great adapter for a Windows laptop that has a shallow SD slot. Unsure why so many electronics have them as opposed to a fully flush port. No issues with contacts or read/write.

Does NOT fit Late 2013 Macbook Pro Properly
This fit my 2015 Macbook Air just fine and sits flush. It sticks out of the Late 2013 Macbook Pro though. IMO the description of this being designed for a Macbook Pro is in error. Users obviously want these flush to avoid accidental snapping or damage. I will look for another one for the Macbook Pro but if you have a Macbook Pro and are expecting this to rest flush against it then don't buy it. It does not fit properly. Otherwise. It does function as an adapter and it does fit in my Macbook Air just fine.

WARNING: THIS ADATPER CAN DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE!
WARNING: THIS ADATPER CAN DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE! I have now ordered two of these and they both had the same issue - at the end that is inserted into the card socket there is a small, but distinguished, lip that can catch pins inside the socket. The first ruined a socket and I was forced to replace it. I damaged it because once inserted the aforementioned lip will catch on the pins and prevent it from being easily removed. In my frustrated state I continued to pull on it until I'd forced it to remove, but not before it had bent half of the pins in the socket on the way out. For $7 I was prepared to give them another chance, but once the second arrived nearly the exact same thing happened - the adapter became stuck inside the socket. This time I was prepared and patient enough to remove it safely by sliding some stiff paper under the card to release the pins from the lip. I just threw the adapter away and won't be risking damage from another.

Does what it should do
Not much to be said - these do what they are supposed to do. Used these on an ESP32-3C build and they're prefect from moving the SD card from the center of the device to the "edge" where a case can be printed that makes the SD card "swappable"

A lot less fumbling around.
I like that I can use my micro sd card in my electronic microscope a LOT easier. The cards are small, and difficult to insert into the slot without fumbling around a few times. I can insert the card into the extender easily, then I have one and a half inches to hold onto. . . One and done.

Not the same product when you buy 5!
I bought one of these before and it was perfect for my needs. I wanted a few more so I clicked from my old order to this product. When I saw that there was a 5-pack I clicked and put it in my cart. Little did I know that I would be getting a different product. The ones in the 5-pack are about a centimeter shorter, which makes them useless for my needs. The picture does change when you select the 5-pack but I had already looked at the image and verified that it was what I had before. Since I linked from my old order I expected the same thing. It's probably not intentionally deceptive, but it's certainly not a customer-friendly approach. If you only need a short extension, these are probably fine.

Working as it should. I'm using it for my Raspbnerry Pi 4 computer.

Works perfect with the Next on touch screen. Tried some others but those connectors were very loose and did not work properly.

This is a wonderful adapter. I use it with a micro-SD card on my Macbook Air for a year now, and it's permanently attached. I use it as an expansion drive. The small profile is perfect. Only the round part sticks out, as if it's not really there. I have no fear that it would break. Solid performer. Recommended.

The problem with using this on a Pi is that the card slot is on the bottom, so it's hard to insert a card while the extension is inserted. I would like to see this type of extension with the card slot on the other side.
