JETech Wireless Bluetooth FM Transmitter with USB Charging, Music Control and Hands-Free Calling

I am very impressed by the sound quality of this device, I found an unused channel, 94.7 in Baton Rouge for my 67 mile daily commute. My truck is an 01 ford f150 with over 200k miles, so the speakers arent that great. Or so i thought. Had been using a GE cassette adapter which lasted about a year and it sounded acceptable, but this fm transmitter has completely blown me away by its sound quality, uptuned the bass a little on my phone and its sounds just about flawless, even with some interference on the channel. Very impressed. Designwise i would rather it have something solid to mount to, i am concerned about the weight of it on the cigarette lighter. ALSO, it doesnt stop charging on my f150 when I turn the engine off, i have to unplug it over night. However plugged in a dodge heavy duty it will stop charging when the engine is off. Phone calls are great from my end, however if your volume is too high the other person will hear an echo, and you do have to talk louder depending on road noise. When playing music set your phone to one notch below max and the transmitter to max to avoid interference (transmitter volume is on the top side and rotates with the main button) and set voice to about 2/3 of the way depending on what the overall volume is set. You want voice to be lower so that they cant hear an echo. The rest of the volume can be adjusted via your vehicles stereo. Its helpful how when it loses bluetooth signal it automatically turns off after about 2 minutes, so if your vehicles cigarette lighters turn off when the vehicle is off then you will not even have to touch it to exit vehicle and later replay music. You do not have to turn it off, it will automatically, just be sure it stops charging after the vehicle is off. I would definitely like the option for a solid mount for it, and it to turn off when the vehicle turns off for vehicles that dont switch off the plugs. I would suggest adding like a voltage sensor or something? However they got the basic fuctions right, and it performs beyond my expectations so thats still deserving of at least 4 stars.

This here is an amazing Bluetooth transmitter. The quality of this device is top notch. I've had this device for over a year now it has yet to fail on me. This makes changing or pausing my music such a breeze. And no longer worrying about messy wires getting tangled up around other stuff in my car is a great reliever. What is so great about this device as well compared to other Bluetooth devices is that after you start playing music from which ever device you can unplug the transmitter from the lighter socket and the music will continue to play. You can still pause/play skip or rewind tracks and use the lighter socket for something else. If you buy this product you won't be disappointed.

I ordered two different FM Bluetooth car thingys before this one. Both came to me broken into pieces. They were light and flimsy (probably why they broke). They both cost 2 to 3x this unit, so I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this. When I got it, WOW! I was MUCH heavier than I thought, and that, to me, means it's pretty solid! I plugged it in, found a radio frequency, connected the bluetooth and BINGO! I was impressed! I will say, the sound quality was a tab bit staticay, but I could live with it. I called my mom and she said I sounded far away, but when I leaned closer to the unit, she said it sounded much better. I am impressed with this little gizmo!UPDATE: I had to take one star away because, while the unit is turned on, my FM radio reception isn't as strong. The station I usually listen to is all staticy. Once I turn the unit off, the station comes in crystal clear. The unit itself work like a charm! If there's a fix for this FM reception thing, please someone let me know.UPDATE 2: I added the star back! I realized I needed to find a neutral station that wasn't close to the radio station I listen to. Once I did that, no issues at all! Matter of fact, I just completed a cross country trip with this gadget and listed to podcasts all the way. No issues what so ever! It's a GREAT buy! Worth well more than the $10 I paid for it!

The first time I used it, it took a little longer than I expected to pair with my phone. Each subsequent time has been significantly faster. I also had a bit of trouble finding a solid, local, FM frequency to use, and I think that is because I was too literal when I read the instructions. Take my advice, when using this, and don't wait for the ideal sounding "static" station and just select one that you hear nothing but white noise on - the strength of it ended up not mattering. Once this transmits on a given frequency, it will overpower just about all but the strongest of stations. Turn the volume all the way up on the transmitter and audio source (your phone), and then control the volume from your car radio dial as you normally would.My car has a peculiar set up for its electrical sockets (cop car) so I had some trouble making sure it stayed plugged in because the base is kind of tall. This probably won't be a problem in most cars. It's a bit pricier than some of the alternatives, but I've purchased this brand before and it's a solid buy. I don't regret the purchase, and it works as advertised.

Purchased for 2007 Corsa which had no aux socket. Easy to set up and no issues pairing with a spare radio frequency and Bluetooth connectivity with iphone 5s. I was expecting some hissing and compromise on sound quality but it's much better than I expected and it seems no different than the quality coming direct from the radio. Only used for local trips so far, 15 mile radius, but haven't had any issue of frequency dropping so all in all very happy with the product. The other option was to change the stereo and purchase a conversion kit for the facia in the car so was looking at £150-£200 cost compared to £20 for this device. I feel I made the right choice on the evidence so far.

1. Delivery - Guaranteed next day delivery, was a day late. Was informed at 22:34 by email that delivery would not be met.2. Item - Does not stay in cigarette charger whilst driving as it is too small for UK cigarette charger. It has rubber parts stuck on sides obviously to try and overcome this design fault but failed. Also the unit that I was supplied had intermittent fault with stereo playback.Item returned

Works great, has a bit of static in the back ground so not good for quiet tracks/audiobook at loud volumes but perfect for the music I listen to in the car.

When I plug this product into my cigarette lighter is doesn't sit properly and constantly comes loose. This is because the product is too heavy to stay in place so when I am charging my phone it keeps disconnecting. If they could come up with a solution to this it would be 5 Star as it works very well when charging my phone and is very easy to connect to via Bluetooth.

Simple and effective Bluetooth transmitter. easy to set up and operate.Had some problems with the initial purchase but company were quick to offer advice on how to fix problem, and, this having failed, offered me a replacement which arrived promptly and which I am now enjoying.
