Counteracts new Air Powered Bead Vacuum has been designed to quickly and effectively remove Counteract Balancing Beads from your tire in the event that your tire needs a repair. The collection bag makes removing Counteract clean so it can be re-used once the tire is repaired. The Air Powered Vacuum may also be used to clean and remove debris inside the tire during its puncture repair which is crucial for a successful, safe repair. The vacuum has a replaceable bag and can be used with Cars, Trucks, Commercial Vehicles and Motorcycles. Not for use with any other internal balancing products.

NO LONGER!!!
This was at the very least, my 7th, and FINAL purchase of CounterAct balancing beads. After purchasing a set of AT 35x12.5x18 tires for my F250, the beads and valve cores were installed. I'll preface this by saying that I absolutely love and stand by balancing beads. I use them on our motorcycles, and all vehicles with the exception of a mustang with low profile tires. The issue I have is not the beads, but the valve cores. There hasn't been one vehicle I've installed these beads in that haven't left me stranded because the valve cores DO NOT prevent beads from clogging core and therefore losing air. I've had better luck with standard valve cores. I have however, already purchased a pack of E-Z tire valve cores. I'm anticipating this is a better design and therefore a solution to the CounterAct valve core problem. I'm undecided what balancing bead manufacturer I will use next, but it certainly won't be CounterAct.

It's a bit tricky to seal but it does do as intended.
As usual comes with a male air coupler that won't be the one you use for your tools probably. That's nothing new with air tools but it did use a 3/8in pipe thread instead of the standard 1/4in you find on most air tools so you'll need an adapter or find your coupler in 3/8 size. Worked fine for me although there's a couple things I would note. The o-ring groove is in the base of course not the acrylic bowl. The bowl has to remain inverted to keep the beads in so the o-ring likes to fall out of the groove as you try to install the base & screw the collar down. When you've finished injecting the media you may want gloves along with the safety glasses. Any beads left in the hose or valve stem will shoot out just like a shotblaster & at least sting your skin.

Have additional tools and materials on hand.
This thing is way too pricey for what it is and how it comes. It does not come ready to use, all the screw fittings are loose and not sealed. You basically have to use Teflon tape on each screw type fitting, there are 4, otherwise you’ll have a bunch of air leaks. The dumbest part about how this is designed is the “O” ring seal. It’s basically not possible to use these seals because the groove that the “O”ring is designed to sit in is too shallow for it. No matter what you do or try, once you tighten the dome on to the body of the bead injector the seal will pop out like a hernia once it’s under air pressure. Especially when your trying to do it with a reservoir filled with the tiny glass beads. I ended up having to make by own “flat” rubber seal out of an old rubber motorcycle tube I had laying around. I outlined the size with a marker using the dome and a silver sharpie on the tube and cut it out using scissors. The tool worked once I got all the leaks fixed. But it was disappointing since I had to do all this extra prep work before the tool was even usable.

They simply didn't work
Ordered these for my jeep Wrangler with beadlock wheels. I did some research before buying and some people said how great these were others said they were a waste of money. After mounting/dismounting my beadlocks 4-5 times adding 16,20,24,28 and 36 ounces in each tire I gave up. While this might work for some people it didn't work at all for me. My next step is to buy some centramatic rings since more people seem to have luck with those. I gave them a 2 star because some people seem to have luck with them.

Not so slick.
Loved the idea, however the beads continuously clog in the valve that connects to the valve stem. Going to tinker with it when I have time. I would not buy it again.

Good as lead
Haven't felt any difference between using these or lead balancing weights with multiple trucks and cars. Highly recommend.

Easy to use
Super easy to use. Just throw the package in the tire before you mount and it’s good to go. I put them in a small 14” truck tire 4 months ago and they’ve been good so far with zero problems.

Great product for fifth wheel tires.
Same as what truckers use. Use it on my fifth wheel 14 ply tires. Tires are looking great after 12,000 miles.

I had to break the beads
Purchased these to balance my winter tires that had a real bad shimmy starting at 85 Kph on my 2011 Dodge Journey. I don't know where the previous owner of the truck had the tires balanced, but there were weights all over the place in and out. I tried to install them through the valves but could not. It was a real PITA. Then I checked and I had TPMS's directly on the valves. I was lucky enough to have a manual tire machine so I removed the tires , broke the beads and poured a measured 4 ounces per tire. I was done within an hour. I put 2 ounces per tire in my motorcycle through the valves and that went really well. I ordered the 6 ounce bags because I wanted some left in case I spilled some and now I have a spare 4 ounces. Don't do like I did. Read the FAQ on the Counteract website as they definitely do not recommend pouring through the valves if you have TPMS on them. Otherwise, you will have to break the bead. Other than that, I am very satisfied.

NEED TO DOUBLE CHECK TIRE SIZE MET OR IMP. But even 10oz per tire, Its shaking.
Nice product. But need to make sure the proper tire size.. After having an issue with the proper requirement according to their chart, CounterAct is sending the remaining of beads to add in the tire.UPDATE: no news from Simon (sales director) after 2 emails. Even with the extra 4 oz per tire sent, there is still vibration in the steering and wheels above 110 kmh (LT285-70r17) with 10 oz per tire and to install extra bags, it costed 70$.UODATE 2: Had to.remove this product as its was still shacking... Stay with proper weight.

Best to get stranded if you check your tire pressure
Really not the greatest, I used them on my motorcycle and used the provided valve core( with extended plastic tip) the plastic tip broke and jam inside my tire valve making it unusable I had to get a new valve then little beads would get jam in the valve / valve core when I checked my tire pressure. That made the air escape and I was unable to stop the leak, the tire went flat. I had to used a very small needle to push down the balancing bead then reinstall the valve core before adding air, very lucky that happen at home not on the trail. Do not recommend them at all. If you want to check your tire pressure make sure you have a valve core remover tool, a small needle and air compressor.

didn't work
Unfortunately Counteract balancing beads did not work for me. Seller (Road Solutions) were not able to help or issue a refund and recommended I contact manufacturer directly (which I did). Counteract's solution was to purchase more beads to see if that would solve my problem. Not willing to spend any more money to see if adding more will help. I added the proper amount according to my tire size. Now I will have dismount all four tires to remove the balancing beads and re balance with conventional wheel weights. Waste of time and money.
