I bought this after my last aux cord went out and had heard that I would not need to have a lifeproof adapter to use this cable. I am very satisfied at how well this cable works and how well made it is. The cable may be thin, but I like how it is not nearly as bulky as many I have used in the past that break after a few weeks of use. I've had this cable for about a month now and haven't experienced any problems with it!I can't wait to see what else this company will offer Lifeproof users in the future. This product makes listening to music via aux cord much easier.

This was exactly what I needed to play my iPhone through my truck radio. I like the Lifeproof case for protection, but it's pitifully designed for hooking up the headphones or playing to an external device. The original headphones will fit through the case and work, but everything else I've seen requires and adapter. This one works well. I'm a little concerned about how durable it might be because the plastic piece around the threaded end is already coming lose after only one use.

This cable doesn't even deserve one star. I bought it, foolishly optimistic that all of the negative reviews I had read before purchasing wouldn't apply to me, but I was wrong. Within the first hour of owning the cord and using it to hook my phone up to the stereo in my car, the plastic casing around the metal screw part came dislodged. Now I cannot get the cord out of my phone because the screw is screwed into my LifeProof case and it is stuck there - I had to actually pry my case off and try to gingerly pull the cord out of my phone (which is now unprotected by any case as I try to figure out how to get the faulty cable out of the case without compromising the waterproof quality or protective integrity of the LifeProof design). I bought this cord because I lost the orignal adapter cable that came with my phone case, and because that same adapter cable is now out of stock on the LifeProof company's website. Avoid the headache altogether and skip this company's cable - it was a complete waste of my money, and it has been a nightmare to try to remove from my phone case. The cable itself also feels flimsy, as other reviewers had mentioned, so even if the plug part doesn't break on you I'm sure something else will before long.

It works in my car stereo to play music but I guess it's "IN ONLY" because my talk to the text features won't work and I cant answer the phone with it plugged in (they can't hear you). So it works for LISTENING but doesn't fully function if I cant use my phone (my other aux cable does let you listen and be heard but its not long enough to fit in through my case).

PERFECT! Fits my iPhone SE LifeProof Case perfectly. So much more convenient than taking the case on and off every time I want the aux cord in the car! The part that goes into your phone screws in, so don't try to jam it or push it in. Sometimes I have to adjust by screwing it left or right if the sounds gets screwy.

I was told you can't have an aux cable with a lifeproof case which made no sense to me but after looking at the reviews I decided to try it anyways. It works perfect for people like me who have a lifeproof case on there phone and I've had no problem. I would recommend this cable to anyone. It screws perfectly into the headphone slot tightly and I'm glad I purchased it.

We had an issue were our cable had shorted out, we were bummed because we really liked the product. I reached out via the company website to see if there was any resolve since we purchased the product not to long ago. I received a personal phone call, assuring that the issue was not ok and would be resolved with a new cable free of charge! They truly offer customer satisfaction and quality service, we will be purchasing from ConnectOne again.

Was looking forward to a single cable to leave in the car when using the Lifeproof Case, instead of the back and forth of the included cable. My first impression was how thin and soft the cable was and how light the cable jacks felt which is concerning considering the case jack needs to be screwed in and out. Given the cost, I was expecting a cable with a bit more substance.....disappointing. We'll see how it holds up after repeated use.
