It's legit Legos at an affordable price
Loved the see it came within 3 days after ordering on Saturday 😊thanks to prime.Loved the fact every piece was a legit Lego product if your an official Lego collector it's great to go with your marvel collection. However it take a good minute to build so for someone's child as a present they might need help to assemble.

Good build for older elementary and older; truck is a little fragile, more for looking than play
My 6 year old son did this set. He is not particularly mechanical, but is highly motivated to do Legos and really likes them. For this set, because he did it on a weekend, with younger siblings around, we traded off doing parts of it and holding the younger siblings off. He did the motorcycle, weapons, and characters, started the trick, and asked me to finish the truck for him. I suspect that if his younger brother and sister had not been grabbing pieces while he worked that he would have completed the build. The only part that was a bit tricky in this is that most of the time while you are building the truck, the front and back look very similar, and it's easy to wrongly attach a piece meant for the front to the back or vice versa.Age 7 and up is probably accurate as far as building this. Don't go much younger. Also, as discussed later, this toy tends to fall apart when played with, so it's not a good set for little kids and more a set to look at and do light play or no play with. Better for older kids who keep things neat. The set took a big part of a Saturday (made some, then went out, then finished the set in the evening). Usually, I will try and keep some small sets available for school closure days. My husband works from home, and if the 6 year old has activities to do, then he tends to keep busy all day by himself. In this case, we did the set on a weekend together, because he was very excited about the justice league theme and characters. After the 6 year old made the motorcycle, the 4 year old brother took it and played with it. I gave the 2 year old sister a different Lego vehicle so she could feel involved and play with the 4 year old. Then the 6 year old and I did the truck together. Total time was maybe 4 hours. It would have been faster if I did it, and would have been slower if my son did it.The build is organized. You get 3 numbered bags. The instructions have you open bag 1, then use the pieces in bag 1, then open bag 2, then use all the pieces in bag 2, then go on to bag 3. This makes it easier to find the correct piece, because you are only hunting through a small pile of pieces. As far as playing with the toy... This set is not so great for being played with. The truck tends to fall apart in two places. First, the two sides of the cargo part will fall apart. If you look at product pics, you can see that the two sides fold open and out to reveal guns, characters, and cargo. These spindly wing like sides tend to fall apart easily, and when my 4 year old tried to play with the truck, he kept asking for help to put those back on. All. The. Time. It wasn't like the sides fell apart from time to time. They seemed to crumble instantly. The 6 year old also had some trouble, although he is more likely to be able to put the truck back together on the spot. The motorcycle held together fine. All the flame shaped decorations on the characters and the truck fall off easily. For those, little kids can also easily put them back on. The special pieces of this truck involve shooting out orange discs, like ammunition. Of course those discs tend to get lost when they fly across the room.I'm not sure about age 7 and up as far as playing with this toy. I think that the truck is too fragile, and this maybe crosses the line to a toy that's meant to be looked at. For someone lightly playing with it, and maybe opening the truck and looking at the detail, this is good. For rough play, no way (and many Lego sets can take rough play). For little kids, I would say it's better to get something at a lower price range with the same number of characters - like maybe something in the twenty dollar range as opposed to forty dollars for this. Most of the play fun for little kids is characters and rolling something. Because one of the two vehicles in this comes apart, some of that fun is lost.

One of my sons favorite birthday gifts.
My 12 yo son had really became interested in Legos recently. At first I was kind of surprised about the what I assumed was a high price for this LEGO set. However when we took the time to put it together I was very impressed with the simple to follow instructions and numbers bags divided up for easy to follow assembly.
