Grounds smell great. Taste doesn't seem to translate. Good enough to drink black, but...
It tastes like a blended flavor to me, not so much distinct butterscotch and rum flavors. It's still good, and I'll buy it again for the price though.

Consistent Quality and Yummy Chocolate Raspberry Flavor
I have used many grocery store and internet sources for my flavored coffee. I find that the suppliers like to change up flavors from time to time. But, I don't want to change flavors. I want chocolate. And I want Raspberry. When my last supplier (an Internet shop in NJ) discontinued my beloved flavor of coffee. I picked four brands from Amazon. After a few months of tasting, it was clear that my household preferred Cameron's. I have used it for about a year now and it is my hope that it will remain on the shelf of Jeff's store for the long haul.I like Maxwell House regular grind for my base coffee. I mix 4 scoops of the MH to 1 scoop of the Cameron's flavored coffee to brew in my vintage glass carafe on my stove top.I prefer to use distilled water.I use two types of filters. I place a round filter on top of the screen and top it with a wrap filter that I put 5 scoops of coffee in.Yes, I know Mr Coffee or the Pods are probably just as good and less trouble. But, I am old school. My Mother taught me to time the process until the brew starts (water starts to color) and then double that, and then use the product of the equation to set the timer. Yes, I have one that winds up and goes ding, but I usually set the stove's electronic timer. Of course, I use a very low flame.Oddly, my two glass carafes brew at different rates (probably made by different manufacturers). One pot takes only 22 minutes until I need to turn off the fire and put the brew in the pump thermos. The other glass pot takes almost 30 minutes. Finally, I look at color of the brewed coffee to make sure it is very dark, but still translucent. If the coffee boils, start over. Don't serve bad brew to your company.Of note, the Maxwell House regular grind has changed over the years and requires a little longer to brew. I'm not sure what's up with that.

Great price but that's all I liked - I'd choose great coffee first and buy flavors / syrup if desired
It serves me right for trying ground flavored coffee just one more time. Personally I found the taste not to my liking at all. I find that virtually all flavored coffees taste terrible if you use the pourover method or anything resembling what is used in a professional coffee shop where baristas serve you delicious tasting coffee. The pros of this coffee, like many flavored coffees, is the great scent. I give it a star for it being able to be repurposed as an air freshner. If you don't like the taste of the coffee, feel free to put it in the bathroom and allow it's delicious smell to waft throughout the lavatory. But let's talk about the direct use, not alternatives.First thing I noticed is that trying to let the coffee breathe during your initial pour is just not happening. Normally you wet the grounds, let it sit for 30 seconds and bubble. The water went pretty much right through the grind and into the cup. I was able to get a pour going and that fared a little better although it was quicker than my usual grind. I added a generous amount of milk since I find most flavored coffees to be almost undrinkable without additions and my first taste was correct.Second I noticed was the natural AND artificial flavoring I saw on the bag. After taking a taste with a healthy amount of milk to make a slightly watery brew a little smoother, I could taste subtle hints of the grog but noticed what seemed to me an artificial taste. It was not as overpowering as some have mentioned, even with a generous amount of grounds added.Overall I'd have to say that if you really live for flavored coffee you might enjoy it. Personally I think that flavors are FAR superior when added in liquid form such as they do at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and other similar establishments which is what I'd place this coffee. In a coffee house they usually use pure ingredients themselves and that is a whole other class of coffee, far above the price you're paying for this bag - not comparable. But after enjoying pure coffees and even occasionally having fun with a delicious mocca beverage at my local coffee shop, I will say that this stuff is absolutely not for me. My three star rating is SOLELY based upon value of what you get at this price point and as compared to other flavored coffees balanced by the coffee itself versus other coffees. IMHO, I'd much sooner go for great coffee and a separate bottle of flavoring if desired.

Ridiculously Bad
An undrinkable, spoiled, misleadingly marketed coffee that pretends to be fresh by infusing artificial toffee and hazelnut flavours. Additionally, the expiry date is 1 month from delivery date, which makes the coffee stale. Try this at your own peril.
