Very Nice
This is a budget red dot and I bought it because I've had pinty dots before and they're good. This one is a step up, and certainly doesn't seem budget. Good work Pinty.

Maybe I got a dud.... great customer service from seller
My sight broke after first use. Had .22 rifle in double padded case. Worked great first few clips. Switched to handgun for a bit. Then back to .22. When I turned sight on again the dot was nowhere to be seen!!!! Had to look at the sight from 45% to see dot. Tried to adjust and no chance of getting it even close to center. Don’t feel like returning. So it will sit on table in basement!! Had high hopes for it!!Update.... seller reached out and I received a replacement sight!!! It worked out of the box, so that’s a bonus! I won’t be able to make it to the range till this weekend.. if all goes well there I hope to give my review 4-5 stars!

Great value for what you get especially for airsoft, but don't expect a lot
The best part of this optic is really everything that comes with it, not the optic itself. You get a nice, robust-ish carry box with "good enough" foam, the included killflash is a great addition for airsoft users, but everything else is pretty much what you'd anticipate for the price.Pros:- Great out of the box solution for a 1x airsoft optic thanks to the killflash.- The carry case can fit a very small riser mount if you finagle it a bit.- The dot is...visible.- Parallax correction is as described: not perfect but certainly usable for a non-precision optic.- The aluminum construction feels solid enough but I wouldn't trust a drop-test with it.- The lenses are fairly clear but you have to expect some blueness at this pricepoint.Cons:- All threading on the device is squeaky and rough. Kinda disconcerting but you can't demand much better machining for 30USD.- The brightness is NOT ADJUSTABLE. Even though it has what looks like an 11-setting dial it's just on or off.- It's pretty dim for a fixed-brightness dot, fine for indoors though.- the "3MOA dot" is lit with 3 distinct LEDs, and they're not clustered very well on mine so they make a roughly vertical squiggle, not a dot or even a triangle like you'd expect from this design. But you have to expect these kind of compromises at the pricepoint.- The windage/elevation adjustment method is terrible BUT still better than the typical socket-head style you have to adjust with an alan key. The threaded-on caps that serve double purpose as your adjustment tools are practically doomed to get lost at some point because of how easy they are to drop while trying to adjust your zero. They do click into place but I highly doubt they are consistent 1MOA adjustments. Conclusion: It's not a quality device but you aren't paying for quality either. I would never put this on an actual firearm (I don't have much experience in that area anyway), but it should be a perfect starting point for airsoft use.

Great for Airsoft
Easy to install and use. Does what its supposed to. Included kill flash helps protect your red dot from BBs. Killflash does not obstruct your view. You don't even see it. Select your level of brightness.

Decent inexpensive red dot for a .22lr rimfire or airsoft rifle.
I use mine for a .22lr. I can't justify the cost of a much higher end unit for a .22 firearm. Would it hold up on a more potent caliber I can't say for certain. If your looking to put on a rimfire or even something like airsoft this is perfect. I like that it came with the honey comb anti reflection filter. Paired with an inexpensive riser and it cowitnessed perfectly with my flip sights.

Cheap, but it losses target quite easily, and the adjustment screws strip easily
If you mount this to anything with real recoil affecting the picatinny rails, the dot will shift no matter what type of locktite you use on the adjustment screws. It may work alright for quite some time on airsoft, maybe 50 - 100 shots on an ar15 or ruger 22/45, but not on an AK or shotgun. If you have to remove or adjust the sight, remember that you only have about 20 - 30 tries before the screws start to strip from the aluminum body.

Highly recommend
I initially thought that the lens cover was rubber and most of the sight would be plastic, but NO. The only plastic are the caps, everything else, including the lens cover is metal. High quality build

Great price and holds zero.
I've been buying Pinty optics for a while now and recommend them to my friends because they work, period. Price point is unmatched, and I have yet to have one lose its zero.Could the clarity be better, sure, but you'd have to spend 10x more to see a difference...I just wish that on the lowest brightness settings of the click style adjusters, that they could get dimmer. And if there could be something done to decrease the flare of the dot as brightness increases, that would improve accuracy and target acquisition.
