Nice twist on the classic
Having Mrs. White as a ghost doesn't really change the game play much but it does offer a chance to get additional clues on your turn. Alexa works well with the game and is a fun addition. If you like the classic game, you can play this without the ghost of Mrs. White or include her for a new feature. If you have never played clue. Your job is to solve a murder by the process of elimination. On your turn you will go to a room and make guess based on the cards you don't have. You will guess the weapon, person and the room you are in. The other players will show you one of the cards that you guessed which allows you to cross it off your sheet. Once you have figured out who did it, you make an accusation. Be careful if your accusation is wrong, you are out but must remain in the game to show your cards to the remaining players as they continue to make their guesses. The combinations are always different so you can play the game over and over without ever knowing the outcome. We play this with our 6yr old grandson who has autism. He loves the game even though it took him a while to learn that you don't have mark off everything before you guess. The board is good quality, and easy to take care of. Just like any board game it will last forever if you put it away when you are done. I definitely recommend for those that like to solve things.

Classic board game!
If you haven’t played Clue since your childhood, it holds the test of time. We purchased this around Christmas time for some family fun time. It quickly became a favorite again in our household. They have it a new element of Mrs. White and using Alexa, which adds, some unexpected twist and turns and lots of fun. It’s great because you can play it with just two people, or a crowd up to six. The board game and all the pieces are high-quality. It’s extremely fun to play. It does not need a lot of assembly. My 5 year old was so interested, I had to get her clue jr.

Love the Alexa Compatibility!
I had a hard time deciding which version of Clue to buy for our family. I decided to take a chance on the Alexa integration even though adding in technology can make classic games more complicated than necessary (I’m looking at you, electronic talking Battleship). We first played this game with my mom and my two sons, ages 11 and 9. I was happy to see that we could just use the Mrs. White cards if we didn’t want to use Alexa (and you don’t have to use Mrs. White at all - you can just play the classic Clue game). We decided to use Alexa when we rolled doubles and we all found ourselves so disappointed when we DIDN’T roll doubles. We LOVED hearing what the ghost of Mrs. White was going to say or have us do, and the sound effects and music just added to the fun of the game. We all concluded (even my mom!) that we absolutely loved the Alexa integration. Typically I find that technology just ruins classic games but this really does enhance the game and brings an extra element of fun to it. The best part is that the game is completely playable without it, so you have the choice to add it or not. Now I’m hoping more games come out that are Alexa compatible!

A fun new update to the classic Clue game!
We're huge Clue fans in our household, so we scooped up this new version as soon as we found out about it. The addition of Mrs. White's ghost takes the classic game to advanced levels. Mrs. White can be a savage or a saint. You summon her by rolling doubles with the dice. Here are a few ways she can help you: - "Take a sneak peek at one of the cards in the envelope." - "Each player who has items you have included in your question will reveal them to you." Here are a few ways she can wreck your game: - "Instead, each player must swap their sheet with the player to the right." - "Instead, swap your hand with the person to your left." The idea of handing off your private sheet to another player or giving them all the cards in your hand is maddening. It really raises the stakes. For us, the only big downside has been that it's difficult to use the Mrs. White cards if only 2 people play. The box lists it as a game for 2-6 players, but for 2 people, some of the Mrs. White cards would end the game. Example: if you're told to swap cards with the other player, then you both know what each other has. There isn't much point in finishing. So to really enjoy the maximum potential Mrs. White offers, you need a group of people. If you can max it out to 6 players, there will be plenty of chaos and challenges to make it a competitive game. We bought this as a game to play while in quarantine, so I don't know when we'll get to enjoy it with a group and truly enjoy Mrs. White's ghost. Lastly, I love the ability to play using Alexa, but it's buggy. The music is spooky and makes great ambiance. But after a few minutes, the Alexa skill turns itself off. It doesn't make any sound again until you say, "Alex, ask Mrs. White." So that's unfortunate. But Alexa is not required to play. You can use the included card set instead and get the same results.

Different than growing up, but fun
The death of Mrs. White brings about a trouble making ghost that interferes with the game...assuming you wish to go that way. If you play by game rules, not much has changed than my child hood version. You have to pick a room, weapon and killer. But now Mrs. White shows up to make things a bit more difficult, or maybe a bit more helpful. Her cards change things up, but not always for the better. Somehow they managed to even work Alexa into this by using the echo dot instead of cards. This is still a fun game that causes you (mostly kids) to think and strategize as to who the killer is. It is a family favorite.

I already have the original Game of Clue at home but we had decided we wanted a 2 player game, something that we are familiar with and not crazy expensive. This game is very similar to the original but for sure has its own twists! Love that this game can be played different ways, AND you can use it with or without Alexa. Love this game and would highly recommend & gift to someone! Great for any age and not hard to learn or play. Kind of has a ‘spooky” vibe which I love!

Me gustó mucho, está muy divertido pero no sirve el skrill de Amazon en México, se puede sustituir con las tarjetas pero no es lo mismo, ojalá pronto funcione aquí.

My son loves a good guessing game, so this one was a no brainer for a Christmas gift! I loved Clue growing up, so I am very much looking forward to playing it with my son. Shipped and arrived the day after purchase and the price was better than any store purchase.
