This book is awesome!! I purchased this book on audio because I don't have much time to sit and read.. I really wanted to read this book, because I love reading and liked the title. So I just purchased the audio book to listen to as I Commute, and what a powerful commute to and from did I have! I wanted to read this book because I am in a job that I feel has come to the end of the road for me, no advancement opportunities, all the perks and flex time taken away.. I knew it was and is time for a change. This book confirmed my thoughts, and feelings, and gave me more push and confidence to continue planning my exit strategy. This book helped me to see that I was on track with my plans, attitude, and perception for how I see the current job and my future. I did not react to the changes made on and with the job, I participated in them while staying focused on my vision board, and future. I made the decision to make the best of where I was while planning, where I was going as I worked my plan. I knew better days were on the way.. I started to live them instead of waiting, I started acting as and living as it was and is already done!! I get up every morning with the mindset of my new job, business etc. I took a picture of my vision board and have my vision board on my phone. I also have a digital vision board on my phone as the screen and make sure I continue to pull the picture up daily to see my future. I put the job that I am seeking and where I want to go on my vision board. I am planting my field. I will listen to this book again, and I have even placed an order for the hard copy so that I can make notes. I also like how the book shows you and tells you how to deal with negative things and people. We get caught up in responding to the negative when we should just keep going and not entertain the negative, the haters etc. This book is priceless, as it also talks about organization, your health is your wealth, budget, etc. Mr. Harvey even shows you his schedule. Lots of great insight and examples to help you win in life. You will not be disappointed with this book, in fact you will be inspired!! Another great book that I read, was Fervent A woman's battle plan for serious, specific, and strategic prayer by Priscilla Shirer also a great read with great insights!! Don't wait another minute get this book and set your success in action!!!!

This is an excellent book, Steve Harvey shares his life's struggles and gives great advice on how to find your God given gift and make it work to live your dreams. I've read books and watched lots of video's by some of the best motivational speakers around, like Les Brown, Zig Ziggler, and Tony Robbins, but Steve Harvey puts the "HOW TO" in motivation. Steve gives many examples of how you might use your gift in a different way than you might have thought possible. For example, you might not want to be a minister, though many people may have told you that was your calling. Maybe you would be better suited to be a counselor, social worker, or a motivational speaker. Steve also gives you assignments with pages to take notes right in the book. He literally walks you through ways to find out what your gift might be. Steve shows you what avenues he's used, and even tells you about his mistakes. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been trying to figure out what that nagging feeling you've had in your heart all your life, that told you there is more to life than what you've been living. Finally there is a book that can help you figure it all out, step by step. I found myself in the first few pages of the book. I recognized many of the mistakes I had been making all these years, and I'm excited to be on my way to the life I want to live. I predict this book will be another best seller for Steve Harvey, especially if it's left up to me because I got a copy for my 3 adult children, and I've been spreading the word. You might come across some who will say that this book is no different than the rest. I say just try it for yourself, you can read a free excerpt on amazon.com, that's what sucked me in and I had to have this book. Steve Harvey, you are the truth!

I was intrigued by the title and thought if this book can be as captivating as "Think like a man", then it would be worth dipping into. I didn't just dip in though, I was fully engrossed!!! Steve Harvey pulls together much of the wisdom literature that is already out there, however, what makes this very special is the practical tips on exactly how to do things. The book is broken down into 4 sections 1 When Enough is Enough - this section puts the spotlight on who you are right now and you have to be honest with yourself. Section 2 Discovering and Embracing your gift - Steve explains this in words of one syllable and it is so easy to understand. Section 3 is Maximising your gift - this is really key to the success of the book, Steve gives some excellent stories and anecdotes, I loved "Tale of the Tape" a boxing analogy using Ali and Foreman's great rope a dope story. Section 4, Is about Creating your Legacy - this is all about how you can really make a difference. The whole book is punctuated by Steve's fabulous story telling. I am a training consultant and in this book, Steve strips away the jargon, wraps his own stories to some common sense principles, whilst hand-holding the reader through a life improvement process. It is done really well.

This book can help people to become a better person. It has some good ideas and approaches to detect the own faults and bad habits and shows how to change these aspects. I like that this book shows that making decisions which lead to failures is an important step to become better and better in life. In the end life will always be a learning process no matter how old you are... Happiness is all about the right mind set and a positive thinking! Everybody can be happy... Just go for it!

I recommend this book to all of you who really want to move forwards. My life has taken a new turn since a read this book. I know who I am, I know what I want and I know what to do to get it. Thanks Steve!
