This Cricut StrongGrip transfer tape is exactly what I needed for working with metallic and glitter vinyls. Unlike standard transfer paper, it truly lifts heavier materials without leaving residue or damaging the design. The printed grid makes alignment so much easier, especially on large projects like signs, labels, or window decorations. I used it to transfer holographic vinyl text onto acrylic, and the result was clean and professional. Although the adhesive is strong, it peels off carefully without tearing the vinyl. I recommend testing it on a small piece first if you’re using delicate materials. An essential tool for anyone working with Cricut who wants flawless, professional finishes!

This transfer tape has never let me down on any of my Cricuit Joy projects... until now. I ordered this online here because I live in a small town that's wedged between larger cities and the nearest crafting store that's 40 mins. away recently stopped carrying it. I'm giving it four stars still because I know it probably wasn't Cricut's fault, but when I went to use it this time, it was very tough to apply smoothly, causing a ton of flaws in the final project, was more sticky and left a bad residue on my Smart permanent vinyl project. It was very difficult to rid of the residue off the final project as well, but I was eventually able to get it all. The tape was in such bad shape that, every though I'm usually able to reuse it a few times, I had to throw this away after the first use. I don't know if the bad result was because it might've been old to begin with or what, but it did take almost seven hours on the final delivery truck to be delivered from the time it was "out for delivery," so I'm thinking the heat might've also been a factor during that which I completely understand could happen. I just wish I thought of that before I ordered it. Again, it's a great product; just be aware it might not live up to what you're used to if you purchase the same exact thing in-store.
