So the provided 1/4" 20 course thread hex bolts work well for most basic things, however if you are trying to attach something to, say, a flag pole they will end up being a bit short. Obviously those are easy to replace (less than $1.50 at your favorite home improvement store). But they clamp well, hold reasonably well, and the attached locking washer is very helpful. Give it a few years, but I highly doubt it'll have issues over the long run

I need this to attach a weather instrument to an existing pole. This did the job.

I used it to mount an outdoor antenna pole (with antenna attached) onto a larger diameter satellite dish mounting tripod. I was worried that it wouldn't be strong enough to secure the antenna pole to the dish mount in bad weather; but it has worked so far, even in some strong (~40-50 mph) winds.

Used this to mount and secure an old school television antenna rotator to my tower. It worked well, but had to purchase x2 1/4” threaded rods to make it a little longer..

Works just fine holding my 5/8 wave 2 meter set-up.

Like others have said, the threaded 3 1/2" bolts that come with brackets are too short to attach to poles. So, like others, I'll march off to Home Depot and buy some 6" threaded bolts, and put these bolts in a drawer, and probably never use them for anything else. Hey seller, how 'bout offering some bolt length options, and give some indication you're actually reading these product reviews...........

Medium duty mast clamps that work as they should. I used it to mount a weather station to my main antenna mast.

Performed as expected.

Simple inexpensive and works!
