Good for general use including streaming and gaming
I've been using the laptop daily since I've purchased it, about 6 months now.I like the speed, quality and overall windows 10 features it has. I have bought it for gaming and also general everyday use including research, writing notes for university and netflix/prime. It has much better specs than my last small netbook so it's a huge upgrade and can support most games, downloads files much faster and doesn't hog the WiFi as well as not buffering every minute when streaming a video. Also good screen size and can fit into my backpack for travelling to and back university. The battery life is average? Not the best but not the worst since it's still fairly new so battery hasn't had a chance to degrade yet. It drains faster if you're streaming videos or playing games but if you switch it on energy saving mode and just use it for work it can last some hours (maximum is maybe 6-7hours).The price is also a little dear but I find it's worth it.I've had an issue where the audio cut out completely but Asus helped and I restored it (keeping my files) and it resolved that.

Nice but...
Had it 3 weeks then had to send it back for repair after a fault developed on the motherboard.Motherboard replaced by local approved Asus repairers.Still not convinced it's a value for money purchase. Had better, cheaper, laptops.SSD is good.

Good Laptop
No problems at all with the laptop. To me, it feels, performs, and looks amazing, although to be fair, this laptop is replacing another laptop which was getting on for 10 years old, so anything would be an improvement to me.My one possible criticism is the weight. I have no problems with how heavy it is, as such, but seeing as it is a SSD, with no CD drive and 10 years younger than my previous laptop, I had imagined I might feel a change in the weight. By no means is this a problem for me, and I think the weight is fairly standard for most laptops, but it was just something which surprised me a little as we all imagine old tech to be more clunky and heavy.

Nice laptop
Everything is as expected, very nice laptop however what ASUS don't let you know is that yes, there is an empty bay for adding an extra HDD/SSD but, and this is a big BUT, there is no cable and no housing just an empty gap.You will need to remove not just a small cover but the complete back of the laptop, which involves prying it apart very carefully after removing the screws, but first you will need to source a housing from somewhere, not just any housing, a special rubber housing to fit the mountings and a SATA cable to connect it to the motherboard. The rubber housing can be sourced from France at a cost of about 30 Euros including delivery. Then there's the cable, well, good luck with that.
