Love Her Well: 10 Ways to Find Joy and Connection with Your Teenage Daughter [Kampakis, Kari] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Love Her Well: 10 Ways to Find Joy and Connection with Your Teenage Daughter Review: Highly Recommend! - If you have a daughter, I would recommend buying this book. Several friends recommended it on Facebook and so I ordered it. Wise counsel on raising a young lady in a grounded, loving, patient way. The author is relatable and gets the ups and downs of friendship, the difficulty getting along with your daughter, and describes the struggles of fitting in and seeking the approval of others well. Just a solidly written book that is easy to read and gentle, but oh, so wise. Wish I had read this in my daughter’s middle school years, but even as she is graduating and heading to college, I find it useful with great insight on the psychology and spirituality of raising a daughter in today’s world. Kind of like a breath of fresh air and encouragement and even in the heated moments (and there are many), reading this keeps gentle reminders in the back of my mind, even as I lose my patience! Two thumbs up here - one of the better parenting books I have come across! Review: Straight forward & Relatable - Easy to read & apply. Well written with relatable stories of encouragement. Excellent weaving of faith throughout. Highly recommend for any woman who’s involved with mothering, mentoring young ladies.

Great book for moms of teens
Great advice for moms with teen daughters! I’m not very religious and there are a lot of religious parts to this book that I kind of skipped over but the main material is really good!

LOVED Love Her Well. A must-read for moms of tween/teen girls!!!
I have never written a review on Amazon but could not write this one fast enough. Love Her Well is a *must-read* for any mom with teenage (or preteen daughters). I read this book with my Bible and journal in hand. I love the biblical truths, the non-“judgie”tone (as my teen girls would say) of her writing, the truths she shares from other mothers, the encouragement, the lessons. The list of “Thirty-Five Ways to Speak Life to a Teenager” is reason enough to read this book. As much as I loved reading this book - I wish I could have coffee (or wine) with Kari Kampakis and soak up more and more of her wisdom. THANK YOU Kari for writing this book and helping moms like you learn to “speak truth in love” and love her well.

Not just for teenage daughters....for teenage sons too!
I devoured this book in two days! I am a mom to a teenage daughter AND two teenage sons. So much of this book applies to loving and parenting boys too. Although the insecurities and daily woes of boys may look slightly different than those of girls, teenage boys also want to be accepted by peers, struggle with mistakes, and need to be hugged. I even found myself needing a refresher on emotional intelligence (Chapter 7) during the days that I read this book. Conflicts arise between adults too (neighbors, friends and even family), especially in an unprecedented year like 2020. I not only love Kari's books, but also her columns; I find myself clipping or printing those out regularly for future reference! This book is a must-read; if you are a "list maker" like me, you will want to keep it in your purse!

I needed this and will reread it!!!
I really needed this book! You will realize that you are not alone in your struggles and if you take the time to really read and take the lessons to heart, answering the reflection questions at the end of each chapter, you will be renewed!! I bought a copy for a friend of mine just for chapter nine!! Chapter nine makes the whole book sing!!!

I bought this as I have a teenage daughter and wanted to be a better mum. This book had lots of practical advice to help. It's written by a Christian so linked to prayer and Bible verses. What a lovely inspiring lady!

I have been listening to the audio version and decided to get the paper back to go along with it. But it came in a plastic bag from original shipper with a ripped cover. Other wise love the book
