bad washer
It is one of the worst washers and dryers of this brand that I have ever had. It started with a horrible rotten egg smell, then it didn't dry properly and finally it doesn't drain the water. I have had it for 3 years and it is relatively new. I do not recommend it at all. It will be money thrown away.

Shipping was very quick, I think it got here in three days.
It is physically smaller than the one I replaced, but it actually holds more clothes and has many more digital options that add a versatility that I've never had to wash specialized loads (blood, grease, jeans only, etc.). Also, it is programmable with more settings than my smart phone and runs quiet as a mouse! Additionally, it has a sensor that can sense the level of clothes in it and automatically, fills the tub to the proper level. Great for those "in between" loads. Well worth what I paid for it.

Control board broke after 3 years
The washing machine will no longer successfully complete a cycle. It now ends one cycle and immediately fills and starts another without letting you remove the cloths. After some research, I believe the control board is bad and needs to be replaced. Problem is, a new control board (if I install it myself and likely void the warranty) is $300. More if I hire someone to replace it for me. That's nearly the original cost of the washing machine. Absolutely crazy for something that is only three years old. Absolutely avoid at all cost. I might be off GE products entirely after this. Yikes!

Unbalanced loads most of the time
Bought this in April to replace an early front loader - salesperson said I'd love the no-agitator feature. WRONG! Very rarely can I put in a load and not have to open the door before a spin cycle to rearrange the wet clothing. It's very hard to get the clothes arranged in such a fashion that its not unbalanced - even a light load of whites finds itself all to one side of the drum. Its a pain and I'm not happy.

Horrible Washer
I’m not a super picky person. I just need a machine to do what it’s supposed to. I bought this machine because of its nice large loading ability. But it’s never worked well with large loads and especially not pillows, towels, bedding or anything that is heavy. It is completely unable to balance properly which results in a LONG process of refilling and maneuvering to try to rebalance, which it’s almost never able to do. We had a tech come out and they said it wasn’t installed properly. He moved it around some, and said it was fixed and left. It wasn’t fixed. I continue to have the same issue. While it attempts to do the spin cycle it shakes violently and even moves 6-10 inches away from its original location, pushing my dryer any anything else in its way. And recently it has began to smell horrible if I wash a load and close the lid (as I’ve done with all of my previous machines with no issues) I now have to leave the lid open for several hours after I’m done washing to avoid really foul smells coming from the machine. I was excited about this machine and the potential it was supposed to have, but I was duped and now I dread using it but I invested too much into this machine to change it any time soon :(

Horrible SMELL!!!!
We have had the unit fot about 3 years. We leave it open so it doent mildew. We run the clean cycle with their pellets. It has started to smell like rotten EGGS! We now ran bleach through it… no deal. Calling a service tech to help us. Maytag site no help. HORRIBLE!!!

Energy waster
It doesn't balance loads and keeps cycling over and over wasting electricity and water. Sometimes when it stops the clothes are soaking wet, which would make the dryer run forever. and it makes load banging noises all the time. The label on the front says QUIET ENERGY SAVER, but it is neither. I've been struggling with it for a couple years and done. Just installed a different one even though I have a 5 year warranty I purchased on this.
