Easy to use
Bought these to check for chloramine in the tap water exiting a filter used for topping off my fish pond. They work as expected but would be better if they had a lower range. They definitely show that there is chloramine in my tap water and none following my filter. My free chlorine kit would not show total chlorine and therefore would not indicate the presence of chloramine.

Great product at a great price.
Have been using these test strip for many years to monitor Chlorine in my drinking water. Finally found a supplier where the price is reasonable and the strips do not "outdate" for a couple of years.

Worked fine
I used this to check if my local water system was using chlorine or chloramine. And also to check that my Berkey filter was removing the chlorine.

Good, but some did not work
Some of the strips had no reaction when used. I would grab another on immediately and it worked great.

Life saver
This kit save my butt one day when changing out the carbon on my RO unit. I installed the carbon block and after flush thought everything was ok and walked away. A hour after I decided to check and smelled full blown scent coming from the water container so decided to test and sure enough the chlorine coming from RO membrane was purple. Stupid LFS sold me a carbon block that had gaskets slightly larger than the carbon block housing. Anyway lucky for me a friend had a few he always kept and the gaskets fits perfectly. This chlorine test was really a life saver. The chlorine could have ate up my RO membrane and killed my fish.

Less accuracy and Inconsistent. Easy to read results though
Not 5-star because it gave me different results when I tested 2 different ways (as the product suggested). While dipping the strip and waving it in water for 30secs gave me lower results (pic on the right below) compared to that of putting strip under running water for 10secs (pic on the left below). One more thing I noticed is, the strip was growing darker the longer time I kept under running water (like 15-20 secs). They should have made strips such that after certain point of time the color doesn't change further than how much chlorine present in water. Somehow in one of my 2 tests (running water method), The total chlorine was lighter than Free chlorine which means it showed I have more free chlorine than total. How is that possible ! The only I thing I like is, their colors are easy to compare to corresponding reading. Due to above observation made I am assuming results are just 50% accurate.

Matched my city water reports
Easy to use and accurate for testing whole-house water filter. Tried it without my water filter engaged and it matched my city water reports for levels of chlorine.
