The Kopul Studio Elite 4000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (3') is a premium, studio-quality cable that's engineered to be both quiet and durable, and is well-suited for the most critical recording and broadcast applications.Studio Elite 4000 Series cables are made from 24 AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. A 98% braided outer shield makes the cable highly resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrix XX silver connectors provide the highest level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for maximum protection.98% braided shield offers the best protection from EMI and RFI noiseTwin conductive PVC inner shields for 100% coverage24 AWG oxygen-free stranded copper conductorsCotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noiseShrink wrapped solder points for seamless protectionNeutrik XX silver connectors for highest conductivityCable Type: 3-Pin XLR balanced microphone cableLength: 3' (0.91 m)Shielding: 98% coverage braided shieldGauge: 24 AWGContacts: SilverConnector 1: XLR MaleConnector 2: XLR Female

High Quality
$1,200 mic, check. Cheap $6 cable (to save $ after the mic purchase), check.Does that make any sense? I actually use Kopul cables with a bunch of >1k$ mics. For a boom mic one time, I purchased a nice Mogami cable with Neutrik connectors. Whatever was inside the cable (several Mogami ones are like this) sounded like crinkling plastic when moved and was easily picked up by my MKH50. So popped on a Kopul 4000 and zero cable handling noise. So that’s one application where these cables get a +1. They’re also well built, thick shielding and with Neutrik connectors that seem to work without fail. You’ll really appreciate the connectors if you’ve ever worked with the .39 cent ones that were made out of recycled license plates.Great cable and no complaints out of the several I own.

Haven't had the time to fully tests these yet, but after my first test run these worked perfectly. Very solid connections and locking mechanism. The cable itself seems durable and higher quality than other cables I have used.

Noiseless
I've been using cheap cables in my home studio for a while now and finally decided to upgrade. Glad I did. I noticed an immediate reduction in noise when I plugged this in.
