I was considering building my own system with cable and a turnbuckle. I’m certain this product is easier and stronger, though piecing together my own hardware would have been less expensive. I’m glad I bought this— my gate now works perfectly. Also, the installation instructions are quite possibly the best I’ve ever seen.

I wanted something to fix my very heavy, sagging gate. I wanted something sturdy that I could easily adjust if it needed it later. The cost seemed high, but was also comparable to other good quality items. So far it is working perfectly and I am very satisfied with the purchase. So much so that I am now buying g another one for my other gate. Easy to install and works great.

I couldn’t find anywhere local that sold a solid anti-sag kit that wasn’t some junk threaded cable. Not to mention those were cheap $20 kits and made in… CHYNA. Found this, saw “Made in USA”… SOLD. Easy install. Took the sag out with minor adjustment. Happy customer.

The device was relatively easy to install. However, directions would have been nice. It was not obvious that I had to use the self-drilling screws to drill a hole through the metal in the middle of the device. I had to look at a bunch of customer review pictures to figure out what I was doing. This is very solid and easy to install. Would have been even easier if directions had come with it.

I have the smallest version, for use on a 3 x 5 gate. This brace is much beefier than I need for this application, but it looks a lot nicer than junky cables or a clunky wood brace that isn't adjustable.I pre-drilled the holes for the set screws to join the two sections. Other than that, it's simple to install and looks great.

This is a well-made, purpose-built product and it does the job really well and made in the USA. That said, there's no reason in 2024 that the documentation and instructions should be so poorly done. It's like a seventh generation copy that really doesn't match the quality of the product itself. I really wish it had high quality color photos and have clearer instructions that match the quality of the product itself.

This device instantly corrected my sagging gate door. It's easy to install too - just two lag bolts on each end and two self-tapping bolts to secure the telescoping pieces in the middle. I didn't even need to turn the adjustment bolt because I had the gate propped up on supports when I fastened the telescoping pieces, so it was already the correct length. When I removed the supports, the gate didn't sag at all.

A very simple to install product that solved our sagging front gate problem. Looks good and has not required adjustment. Much easier to work with than tensioned wire. Highly recommend.
