Easy to use instructions but when it comes to the lift up bit, it’s quite difficult. You need lots of patience as lots of bits to put togetherGood value though and the head board is nice if a bit short, could have been a bit taller. Give yourself a day to get it all together right

I bought 2 single beds for my elderly parents who needed to move downstairs for ill-health and mobility issues. We built up one bed which took 2 of us about 90 minutes. The bed itself was excellent value for money and good quality. Unfortunately, there were holes missing to fit the bed feet and even though it says in the instructions that the lift mechanism is stiff to begin with, it proved very difficult for my parents to shut the bed, although able bodied people would be able to manage it. We had the beds over the 2 week window before we made them up so was not very hopeful when I requested to return both beds.The service we got was amazing! We disassembled the one bed and put back in the packaging and Aspire arranged the collection of both beds, free of charge and gave us a full refund! Unfortunately we could not find suitable beds on their website for my parents needs but I would not hesitate to recommend them, the service was second to none and made a very stressful period a little easier.Thank you to all the Aspire team!

The bed is exactly as described, the fabric is thick canvas which I like.The instructions are not clear enough. I normally manage to assemble furniture but had some issues with this as never installed a bed with this system before.Very important to know which side to install the headboard/footboard otherwise can’t install the mechanism to lift the bed. This is not shown. Had to start all over again after frustrating time to figure it out.The pistons work, might need to be loosen up before installing.Handyman came to rescue with proper tools and experience, managed to put together in one hour.Everything works, nice storage space underneath.Only 4 stars for the instructions, pleased with bed, just what I wanted

I booked assembly at the time of ordering, which was later cancelled. It was too late to cancel the whole order, so I paid for a private ‘flat pack man’. I was happy enough with this arrangement. But, very soon after assembly, the bed started squeaking!! I’m my opinion, the structure isn’t manufactured stable! Following various experiments to stop the squeaking, the only thing that worked, was to take the legs off! As there is now more surface area on the floor, the bed is more stable. I also agree with other reviews, the bed frame is not 4ft 6. There is a gap of approx 4 inches at the side of the mattress. I hope this review helps. All in all I wish I had gone for a better quality bed.
