ASUS Transformer Book T100 10-Watt Power Adapter

The T100 I bought somehow came with a non-ASUS power adaptor that was less than 10-watt (my theory is that someone returned the unit to the store but kept the ASUS adaptor). The result was that my T100 would only charge if it was powered down completely, and then it took all night to charge fully. I could not charge it while the tablet was running -- in fact, plugging it in would make the T100 lose power faster! So I bought this 10-Watt power adaptor and everything now works as it should. It recharges the tablet as it should, whether the power is on or off.

Bought this for my Memo Pad FHD10 cause it was showing 'insufficient charger current' all the time. This didn't get rid of that. It's junk, if tablet battery real low and you plug in charger and continue using charger, battery won't charge. Buy an after market one like one from PWR+, available from Amazon for less than $15. That one did get rid of 'insufficient charger current' popping up on screen and even charges battery while using tablet to stream a movie.

If you are struggling with an ASUS trying to charge it with a ton of different cables, there is a reason, ASUS uses there own cables, just buy this and it works great.

I received a genuine Asus T100 power charger with cable. I think these are much too expensive but I got mine slightly on sale. But your #1 concern here is that it is not a knock-off as is unfortunately common. Buying directly from Amazon, I received exactly what I have included with my Asus T100 tablet/netbook out of the box.

This product works exactly as expected. Its a wall charger. Its pretty durable, and what makes it nicer than most simple USB 2.0 mini USB cords is that the cord can be removed from the charger itself, so if you want to purchase a cord that allows for more voltage, you can.

It works and it has "Asus" on the block; however, I was specifically shopping for the one pictured. Mildly let down.

Not the original which would have come with the laptop/tablet. I bought this because my original got switched with a smaller one (5v). I didnt realize; until it burnt out. When this one came in the mail it was the same as the one I had which burnt out.
