$1200 to replace screen after only 3 years
I loved my Samsung Frame TV but I started noticing it would automatically shut off and on for a few minutes after owning the TV for a year and a half. It's now 3 years and it shuts off and back on continuously without allowing you to control the TV at all. When I called Samsung and they sent out a technician which I paid $140 for, he told me it would cost $1000 to replace the screen plus $250 labor. I couldn't believe this. Samsung only provides a 1 year warranty and I find all over the internet that other people are having the same issue. I've called multiple times and they refuse to even provide a discount on the price of the screen.

Too much $$ for the quality
We were very excited to purchase this, we have been holding off for a couple of years. When the new 2020 model came out we decided to finally bite the bullet. It does look pretty much exactly like my brothers 2018 model.Pros:-Looks good on the wall, pretty believable as a picture frame.-One Connect box is pretty slick, provided you have space for it.-I like that I can transfer pictures from a flash drive directly to the TV and it saves them.-I like Samsungs app layout-I LOVE that I can airplay from my iPhone/Mac-It shuts off automatically if it doesn’t sense anyone in the room, seems to work well.-Easy to mount-Fun browsing pictures and having a different piece of art every day.Cons:-Picture washes out immediately when turning to an angle. In my pictures it might me hard to tell but the second one is at a 45 degree angle. It’s bad. Almost a deal-breaker. It reeks of cheaping out and charging a lot of money for sub-par panel.-Overall picture quality is fine but nowhere near what you would expect for a $1500 TV.-Can’t tell the difference between this one and the 2018 model. Hard to find those, so just go with the cheaper 2019 model.Overall it’s a fun TV because it looks like a picture frame, but ultimately not going to fool anyone and the price is way too high for the panel quality. Probably worth $900, but not $1500. Can’t comment on gaming.

DO NOT BUY THIS TV!
TV has a remote power supply and connector device for HDMI, etc. Mine died after exactly 7 days of use. Samsung sent a repair team out 5 days later who replaced the defective device. Fast forward 11 months, the TV stopped working. SEVEN calls to Samsung's "customer service" all resulted in "we can't help you" and "you're on your own" despite my still owing $1,800.00 on a useless, defective thing hanging on my wall.Samsung's "customer service" is inept, unhelpful, useless and cares nothing for the customer. I am beginning to wonder if they are stalling until the TV is out of warranty. The bottom line is the same as the first, DO NOT BUY THIS TV!

TV was a lemon...Samsung refunded my money.
Update: I contacted Samsung directly and they provided me a refund for this TV due to the box going out. It was still under warranty. They had someone come and pick it up too. I loved the TV and know many people who have it with zero issues. It's not worth the price in my opinion if issues with the box exist.I purchased this TV in July 2020...it is now Dec 2021 and the TV no longer works cuz the separate One Connect box that powers the TV has quit working. This seems to be a MAJOR ISSUE with Samsung TVs that use these separate boxes. The TV screen itself is fine, but without the box (which has all the connection ports needed to hook up a DVR, etc), you can't turn it on or use it in ANY way. The warranty on these TVs is 12 months. If your box or cable go bad after the warranty expires, you're looking at spending $400-500 on a replacement box...that is, IF they still make them for your TV model. The way Samsung is handling these faulty boxes is UNACCEPTABLE, and in my mind, CRIMINAL. These boxes should be recalled and a new design created to replace them. Anyone who purchased a Frame TV that now has a faulty box, should be refunded their money or offered a new TV if the issue cannot be resolved at SAMSUNG'S EXPENSE.
