CasioMen's W96H-1BV Classic Sport Watch

This is a straightforward, budget-friendly watch that has quickly become my go-to for outdoor activities like bike repairs or rides. Despite its simplicity, it's reliable and has a decent aesthetic. The case size is slightly larger compared to other digital watches I've tried, which works in its favor. Even on my skinny wrist, the typical 37-inch watches appear too small, but this one fits just right.This watch also has useful features like GMT-like functionality, which allows for setting a different time zone, a timer, and possibly more. The plastic strap, while comfortable, is a bit too long for my liking, but that's a minor quibble.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The watch feels durable, looks good, and delivers more than what you'd expect for its price.

I bought this watch for my teenage son, he loves it! It’s easy to set the time, date and use of the other features. The wristband is comfortable for him and the face of the watch is not too big or bulky looking on his wrist. I highly recommend this watch for someone looking for a digital watch with basic functionality.

Thin and light. Good for everyday use.I bought it in 2020 and the band has just broken. Considering the low price still value for money. Just remember to be gentle when putting on and off the watch.

I've had several of this model. Usually lasts a few years, then the strap breaks long before the battery runs out (thus only 4 stars). I use just the time and the dual time. I use my phone for my alarm as it's easier to set. I keep buying this watch because it's inexpensive, durable (the watch only), easy to read and use. When my current one dies, I'll buy it again if it's available. I really wish the strap was more durable.

Its a basic, run of the mill watch. Its sleek, light yet doesn't feel flimsy or cheap. The water resistance is nice for me as I work with water and other liquid very frequently and its nice to not worry about ruining my watch. It gives me all the info I need, time, date, day and month mind you. There's an alarm, a stopwatch and then a secondary time in case you're in between zones. Lovely watch and if ever I break this one (which would take some VERY intentional effort) I would happily buy another.

This is by far my favorite quick easy digital watch on the market. I'm on my third one (other two were both lost in freak accidents) and love everything about the watch. As someone in the military it has everything I need. It has absolutely everything I want to know at a glance. I've become so accustomed to it I can navigate through the watch and set alarms and do other things all without looking at it, partially in thanks to the ease of the "layout". I really like how it shows the current time in the corner as you are in other menus, so I can keep a timer up and also see the time without having to go back to the main screen. Some will probably dislike how brief the illumination is but I prefer it for minimal visibility at night. The screen won't hold up to heavy abuse as far as hiding scratches but it's always kept working and been tough enough to still be able to read the screen, though to me looks are always secondary to performance. The only feature it lacks is a count down timer but that isn't important to me. Overall this watch carries the strongest recommendation I can give for something.

I grew up with mostly digital watches made by Casio. It's integrated band attaches seamlessly to the body of the watch with small screws rather than the traditional spring pin method.I have yet to wear a digital watch with it's OEM traditional spring pin type band that does not grab some hair or pinch occasionally, or possibly more often than that. (This does not include velcro wrap type straps which don't pinch, but for me always end up smelling like I am wearing eau de-jungle rot on my wrist after a few months of dirt, sweat and general grunge, no matter if I wash them)While this watch has many of the features of some G-Shock watches at less than half the price of the very bottom of the G-Shock line, (I have owned several.) It seems to weigh only a fraction of what they weigh, yet retains sufficient water resistance for my use in wet and muddy situations.I have owned the watch for less than 6 months now, so if my view of the band or the durability changes after longer use I will update this review to reflect accordingly, but for now this simple, inexpensive, decent looking digital watch with a good set of functions and water resistance rating gets 5 stars for being great at what it was built to do.After just a few months of use this watch has clearly proven that I, as the late Douglas Adams stated: "... still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea." when they are done right and kept simple.

1. Relatively big display with all time, date and week info.2. Although it’s plastic and cheap, yet it has a sort of craftsmanship, also light and tough so it’s perfect to wear when doing physical works.3. Dual-time function makes it a great travel watch too.
