These are fantastic. As far as I’m concerned they are a great product at a great price. If you purchase them you won’t be disappointed.

I had some concern after reading a review and decided I'd add some blue loctite thread sealant ot help make sure the shackle doesnt loosen. After untightening it, I have no idea how it would have fallen off the person's vehicle. It was difficult to remove, and had to use a wrench to loosen.I used a adjustable wrench and a towel over the flat part at the end of the screw to get it to tighen enough to prevent the shackle from swinging around freely, but not so tight you can't adjust the shackles position up and down.I ended up using blue loctite because I would probably never want these to come off, and if I do need to remove, I dont mind using a bit of force, but I must stress if you tighen, and use the little spacers etc, you PROBABLY dont need it.Shackles look good and should be plenty strong to help tow and recovery operations on my bronco.

Product is a big as your hand, well make. Dont know how long the painted surface would last under towing but would buy again.

I wanted to use these on my F150 Lightning hitch to make it easier to attach my tow chains. They were a tight install but unfortunately got in the way of my hitch lock. They would work perfect as recovery hooks and the rubber is a nice bonus to eliminate any rattle.

Needed these massive clevises to connect a tow strap to my truck. The orange & black coating is nice. Can't imagine breaking one of these.
