Awesome!
Love that the kit came with everything you’ll need, EXCEPT instructions. Lol I would have appreciated some guidance on the install height on the gutter in relation to the barrel but we figured it out. Installed pretty easily, the hole cup saw kit worked perfectly and will be a nice addition to our tool box. Just make sure to smooth the rough edges of the gutter off with a file before you put the diverter in because it can cut into the rubber (which we learned the hard way but we don’t have any leaks so far that I can tell...)We installed the kit with a FreeGarden 55 gallon barrel and instead of using the top entry area through the mesh insert we just popped one of the cutouts on the side out and fed the tubing through there. The first rain the barrel filled up about 10” and there didn’t appear to be any leaking. So far so good!! Our first house had a barrel that was collapsible and we were able to zip the entire downspout into it. Our last house had underground gutters and I didn’t know how to set the barrel up but this would have worked perfectly and I wish I knew about it because I missed having a barrel! Love that the install looks super neat and clean without cutting the gutter off and without a bunch of tubes running all around.

Best ones we ever used!
Arrived on time and in great condition. These downspout diverters are the easiest to install and you don't need to cut out part of your downspout to insert them. Since rain runs down the spout along its outer edges it captures a high percentage of it. Once the water backs up your drain pipe to the diverter because your barrel is full, it will allow any more rain to bypass the diverter running out the bottom of the downspout. We love these because to winterize them you remove the diverter and place the cover over the hole using the same screw holes, very easy and it works like champ.

Great product!
We have two rain barrels and this is the easiest way to set up the system in the spring then in the winter we just remove the hose and barrels, screw on the winter seals and no leaking even with the heaviest of rain storms.

Works great, until buckets full
This thing is easy to install and use; however, once your rain collector is full it doesn't pass water through the gutter well enough to prevent a small flood on the ground. I had to remove the device plug up my hole when my buckets filled to stop flooding.

Less spent on the water bill.
Lack of directions is the down side. Look online to get better idea. But it works! Can’t wait till the summer to get my gutter water.

Just the ticket!
Our city was selling rain barrels at a discounted price, but they didn't come with a way to fill them. I researched different diverters and settled on this one. I'm glad I did. Installation was easy and the product is quality construction and solid. Great product and a great price.

Collects water
One problem with the part that goes into the down spout, the flange can rip thereby breaking the seal. Water escapes. Had two rip on me during installation. Why I had to buy these.
