It works great!
Exact replacement of an old one for my pizza oven. Just saved $200 labor by installing myself as its 10 min job.

Wonderful. Does what it says it will do
Wonderful. Does what it says it will do. I am thankful for reviews. I had purchased a Honeywell one and nothing. It did not work. Upon reading reviews I found that Honeywells have a high failure rate. Right out of package they don't work.Honeywell was once a well respected name. And I had bought that one from a Heating dealer. Maybe a scam. They sell a defective unit. Then the customer calls for a service call to fix. Then large $$ labor and maybe a large $$ parts bill for a whole new control valve. This is an easy DIY project as long as you work carefully. Try not to remove gas line and make sure of your connections. This saved me hundreds of $$$. Very good price except for delivery charge.

Works on my application perfectly
I have a 16yo water heater that had an ongoing pilot light issue. It would light and stay lit for a few days before extinguishing. After giving everything a dusting and checking that the old thermocouple was in the pilot flame, it was still happening. I tried a full disassembly of the burner and associated connected parts to see if something was blocked.I replaced the thermocouple with this one over a month ago and not had a single issue. Not one relight needed.I understand that this is a universal piece, but 36" is about 18" more than I needed. A big concern that I had during the install was what I would do with the excess length so that it was neat and not in danger of being pinched or snagged by the covers/shields.I feel that the diagrams in the instructions could be more clear as my exact bracket isn't pictured.I'm very handy around the house, but I doubt a plumber or experienced handyman would share my same concerns as this is more their wheelhouse.

Easy to install works perfectly
I was nervous instantly this on an old coal furnace conversion. It installed easily and has worked perfectly for over a year. I would highly recommend

Fixed a flaky gas fireplace insert!
I am unreasonably excited about this thing. We just bought a house with a gas fireplace - not a clue what make, model, year, etc. The fireplace would light and run for a few minutes at a time, then *POOF* - it went out - pilot light too. I could re-light the pilot and try again - and it would work for a few minutes, then, well, you get the idea.Quick Googling indicated a faulty thermocouple could cause this problem, so I bought this one, sold on the word "Universal". Lo and behold, it was an EXACT replacement for the old one - fits my Dontknowthebrand Somerandommodel XL fireplace insert perfectly. And the fireplace has worked perfectly since. So if you're the owner of a Somerandommodel XL, buy with confidence!

Just what I needed!
It’s a thermocouple which is the good part, I had looked up the length it should be from the part# listed and I thought it was gonna be a 30” but I received a 36”The good news is it doesn’t matter, I just needed a working thermocouple and this was the cheapest around.

Perfect replacement for 40 gal Whirlpool water heater
My 15 year old Whirlpool water heater with a Robertshaw thermostat control stopped working. The pilot light would light after holding the button down for over a minute, but would only stay on for one cycle of firing the main burner. I ordered this replacement part. I decided to remove the burner assembly (easy job, took about 10 minutes) and clean the thermocouple bulb. It turned out that the bulb had a layer of black corrosion on it. I used a fine emery paper to remove the corrosion and restore a bright finish to the bulb, and then reinstalled the burner. The pilot light lit, and stayed lit after holding the button down for about 15 seconds. The water heater has kept working through many heating cycles for the past week, so cleaning/polishing the thermocouple bulb seems to have done the trick. I will keep the replacement thermocouple for future use; for ~ $7, it would be silly to return it.
