BEST IN ITS CLASS VDSL2 MODEM
This modem is absolutely several heads above anything that Centurylink provides. I never heard of the brand either, but it comes with a 2 YEAR WARRANTY which is better than most of the other brands out there which only give 1 YEAR. It's specs and features are much better. It comes with a manual that will choke a horse it's so big (PDF file of course) and has all the detail you could ever want.I recommend this for anyone who has more than 15 devices in their home (not difficult to do these days...I have over 30). It can handle the load (that's why I got it) and is actually a business-class VDSL2 modem. The only thing I feel may be better than this is a Cisco 800 series, but this is several $100 less. It is about $200 more than you will spend on Centurylink's best modem however. Centurylink's modems are a joke and are meant for people who maybe have a 10 devices or less on their home network.
