Zipit Bedding Set, Wild Animals - Twin

My grandaughter is 5 and she has sensory processing disorder. We looked into getting her a weighted blanket, but the cost was outrageous. She has slept all night in her bed since she received it and told her Momma, I'm so "snuggy warm"! it makes her feel so safe and secure! Great design, quality and colors.

The item pictured is not what we received. The animal print was the same but the reverse was a blue camo print. More important, however, were that the zippers unzipped easily every time my child shifted, the whole thing was ill-fitting and too small, even for his small IKEA bed, and there was no pocket. He gave this a good try for a couple weeks but he was really unhappy.

My three boys each got a zipit for Christmas. It's now July and they have been washed several times. I'm disappointed because the comforters are coming apart at the zippers. Every time I wash them I have to mend it in at least one place if not more. I love the idea. They love that it's easy to make their bed. I don't love the quality of the comforter.

I purchased the zip it bedding for my 4 year old. He picked out the Wild Animals set to match his bedroom. He was growing frustrated due to being OCD. His regular covers wouldn't stay tucked as he slept wildly. When we received the Zip It set I was immediately impressed with the quality. No loose strings and the quality of the fabric itself seemed like one that would hold up to use. It is very easy to put on his mattress he has a standard wood bunk bed and it somewhat hides the zipper pocket on the side but he doesn't have an issue storing clean tissues in it. I'm relieved to not be woken up 6-7 times a night to tuck sheets back under his mattress. The zippers are easy to use but occasionally snag the fabric. It's easy to wiggle them and get them unstuck. I have no complaints besides offasional grabbing but that's to be expected. The zipper has not hurt the fabric when it grabs it. I foresee myself buying a new set soon so I can switch out zip it bedding versus using a sleeping bag when the zip it is in the wash. I highly recommend this to anyone. It was worth the cost. Oh! And no more making the bed! Just zip it up and it looks fantastic. I feel like a whole new woman with undisturbed sleep.

Just received, so cannot comment on long term use. I have the wild animal print, and while the comforter side is true to the photo. the sheet and side portion are not the plaid as pictured They are a camo print, with a large amount of an unattractive yellow-orange blobs, which does not match the animal print. Disappointed, especially as I wanted a print to suit both a boy and girl, and the camo makes it boyish. Also, there is an inexpilcable zipper in the pillow case. It is open on one end, like a normal pillow case, so why the uncomforable zipper? The positives are that the bed makes up neatly and easily.

The bedding looks great, my seven year old son loves it. The bedding is comfortable to the touch and zips up very easy. I was worried that his feet would get cold because of the open end at the bottom, but my son said that he stays warm and comfortable. I wish that this company would make this bedding available in single size bed so that we could put them in our motorhome bunks beds, that would be awesome!

My boys and I love the bedding but it needs work. The fitted sheet the comforter is attached to is very shallow and does not stay hooked around the bed. It gets loose and makes it harder for the comforter to be zipped, it even pops off the bed during the night. I ended up using 2 'fitted sheet strap stay-downs suspenders' connected across the center of the underside of the mattress to keep things in place which worked perfectly but it was an extra step due to poor design. The stitching is also cheap and the corner of the comforter arrived torn from the stitching breaking open. The pillow case has a zipper so kids can put their pillows in the case themselves which is a great idea. I would give it more stars if the errors were corrected. It really does have great potential.UPDATE: 1 year later - this bedding has fallen apart. The seams have ripped open, a zipper has come off entirely & the fitted sheet elastics have loosened.
