Excellent quality helpful accessory.
Haoge has excellent quality of accessories, a had some other ones for different cameras before and liked them. This is well designed fits in your hand very comfortably and improves the handling of this lovely small camera significantly.I need to mention one thing which was criticized by a few user, that the bracket leaves a space between the camera when tightly attached. Please take a look at the bottom plate of the E-M5 MK III camera and you will see 2 tiny bumps at both end of the bottom plate most likely to protect the whole bottom of the camera. So it is physically not possible not to have a very slight gap between the plate and the camera and this has nothing to do with the Haoge bottom plate!!! The plate is otherwise firmly attached to the camera, absolutely no wiggle as somebody referred to it.Enjoy this L bracket I certainly do mine.Update:After using it for a while I do not feel that the handgrip is comfortable I would much prefer one with the round handle. A friend of mine has one of those and it feels a lot more comfortable then this square grip.I do not even understand why they made it this way.

Much improved handling with 100-400
This grip does what I wanted it to do, improve usability and balance of the E-M5 III body with larger/heavier lenses, especially the 2.5 lb. Olympus 100-400mm. It is also very comfortable to hold for long periods and very well constructed, this at a price of $54.95. You can also access both the battery and card without removing the grip, unlike the $169.00 ECG 5 grip which is Olympus' only option for this camera, a ridiculous design flaw at a premium price. The Haoge is not, however, easily removed like the in my opinion perfect ECG 3 grip Olympus made for the E-M10 II priced at $69.99, which uses a simple knurled wheel to detach the grip rather than the Haoge's screw requiring an allen wrench (which they provide). I'll likely simply leave the Haoge on. Yes, it's a convenience compromise in this small/light body well suited to most other lenses, bit it's well built, not unduly heavy (.5 lb.) and reasonably priced, so I'm good with it.

Must have for EM5 mark III
I bought this grip following a Youtube review by Rob Trek and I must say it makes my Olympus EM5 mark III feel like a new and different camera. It is made of high-quality materials and feels really sturdy in the hand. When mounting larger lenses like the M.Zuiko 12-100mm f4PRO on the EM5 mark III, this grip makes it so comfortable to hold the camera. The bottom plate of the grip is Arca swiss compatible which makes it easy to mount on a tripod, so no need to screw and screw off a tripod late. Overall I am 100% satisfied with the product

A Good 3rd party grip for the E-M5 III
I received the Haoge grip for the E-M5 III from Amazon in 2 days. it cost about a third of the Olympus branded grip. This will be a bit of a compare and contrast between it and the Olympus branded grip, which I also own.I was going to buy a quick release "L" bracket for use on my tripod. But this was only a bit more expensive than the 'better' (i.e. more expensive) "L" brackets, so I thought I'd give it a try.It seems well built. The Olympus Grip is also extremely well built, and while it feels a bit more 'upscale' than the Haoge, I don't think there is a significant difference between the two in overall build quality. There is one exception to this broad statement, which I will cover in a bit.The removable vertical mount is attached to the main body of the grip by a single screw, however, there are 2 pins extending from the vertical mount that fit into sockets in the main body of the grip as well. For those concerned about just a single screw holding it together, I would judge it adequate to the task. Those pins will keep the vertical mount from rotating around the screw and loosening it. The Oly grip has no vertical or horizontal quick release "L" bracket. With the vertical mount installed the fully articulated screen can not be used, so you will need to flip the screen so the display side is exposed before you attach the grip. The Olympus grip does not interfere with the articulated screen at all.All the screws in the Haoge require a hex wrench to tighten and release, even the tripod mount, which is not 'knurled' for easy hand turning. This allows the user to hand tighten to an extreme and possibly dangerous degree. But it has always been possible to overtighten the tripod mount on most devices like this, but a proper tightening of the screw means that over time, it works itself loose with use. I would like to see some sort of magnetic or clip to keep the hex wrench securely attached to the grip. The Olympus grip's Tripod mount screw can't even be turned directly by hand. Instead, in the back at the base of the Oly grip, there is a little thumb dial that you push left or right to turn the screw. I was originally put off by it, but as I used it, I came to appreciate it. I've found it virtually impossible to over tighten the mounting screw, and when the grip starts to feel a bit 'loose and wobbly', I can quickly re-tighten it with my thumb without turning the camera over, and getting out the hex wrench to tighten it.One feature I really like with the Haoge grip that the Olympus grip has no equivalent of is that as the camera faces you, on the right-hand side (Stage right for theater majors) there is a tiny little vertical lip. My thinking is that it helps transfer some torque normally applied to the tripod mount to the right side of the frame.Fully assembled, the Haoge grip weighs 126 grams. with the vertical mount removed so that just the grip is attached, it weighs 103 grams. The Olympus grip weighs 121 grams. So both grips weigh in at roughly 4 ounces. You won't notice any difference between the two in terms of weight. If you do, you are far more sensitive to weight, than I am!The Haoge allows the user to change the battery without removing the grip, that is VERY nice! The Oly grip does not. Here is the quality exception I mentioned earlier. And I'm not sure how important it is. The Haoge leaves a gap all along the camera base and the grip base. I can actually see a tiny strip of light between the two when I hold the combined devices up to the light. My suspicion is that the little depressions in the grip base don't match up perfectly with those little 'nubs' on the base of the camera (to prevent lateral movement of the grip.) It doesn't seem to affect how well the grip attaches to the camera body, but I do worry that it might make a user have to check the tripod mount screw, more often. The Olympus grip has a very short gap to the right side of the tripod mount, and even if it did, tightening the tripod mount screw doesn't interfere with the shooting flow of work. So I am not sure if this is a significant issue, or not.The Haoge has markings, both vertical and horizontal to indicate where the center of the sensor plane is (i.e. the film plane). The Olympus does not. It's fairly convenient to have, however, I wonder how accurate the vertical markings are when that little gap is factored in.Overall, I think the Olympus grip is much more comfortable to use as a grip, while I think the Haoge is the grip I would take if I expected to be using a tripod quite a bit. But in the end, if the Haoge was the only grip I had, I think I could get used to the Haoge and not miss the Oly grip. However, I will probably use the Oly grip as a walkaround grip, it's more comfortable to use, and I already own it!But in the end, the Haoge grip is a third of the price of the Olympus grip, and in some ways does more. I would have purchased this grip and have been satisfied without ever owning the Olympus branded grip.

A Truly Great Accessory!!!
This grip for the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III vastly improves your control on handling the camera especially with longer lenses or when needing to manage the camera one handed. I almost purchased the grip made by Olympus but had a real hard time rationalizing the extra exposure button and control wheel that duplicated what was already on the camera as well as being considerably more expensive. I often make use of a tripod for my long exposures and landscape photography so the added bonus of the integrated Arca Swiss base plate negates the requirement to carry and extra one. I can also access the battery compartment on the camera without having to remove the grip. This grip is well worth the money and has improved my ability to manage handling of the camera in almost every environmental situation. I can't recommend this accessory enough.

Excellent fit & finish for Olympus E-M5 Mk III
This add-on grip looks and feels good on the camera, making it much easier to handle. And the base is designed to fit Arca-Swiss-type quick release clamps, while also protecting the camera's bottom plate. There's a cutout for easy removal of the camera battery. A winner all around.

Gute Form
Schnelle Lieferung.

If you have a OM System OM5 get this!
I am extemely pleased with my purchase of this bracket. This has mae a huge difference to how I use my camera, I no longer have to attach a seperate plate for use on my tripod, the fiiting is built into this grip, also the additional handle makes it fit more comfortably in my hand, not that it wasn't before, but this is a game changer. This is being marketed for a Olympus OMD EM5 III, which is no longer made. But the grip is an ideal fit for the OM System OM5 which has an identical body to the EM5 III. I think the sellers would sell more of these if they made this fact known. It is well built, made of aliminium and very sturdy. I have noticed some reviews have stated that it bends slightly when fitted, I have not found this to be the case, you would have to really overtighten it to the camera to do this. Highly recommended. Much better value than official OM grip, plus, you can change the battery without removing the grip from the camera.
