Easy to use with great quality and good compact size

I paint cars, detail cars, mechanics, and help family members and friends buy used cars. This little tool is not perfect but will get the job done. Great value for tool that helps determine if a car has been in a wreck. Factory paint jobs are very thing opposed to body shop paint jobs. So check the thickness in various spots on every panel and if some places are a good deal thicker then you know its been at least repainted there... not necessarily from a wreck.. but you can dig a little more and see if there was any structural damage near there or if it was just a door ding repair or bad scratch repair. Also helps when detailing a car to make sure there is enough clear coat to compound an area to fix the scratch. If not you know you might have to shoot it with some clear then compound the area so you dont mess up the base coat

This worked perfectly 3 times and then the display turned to gibberish. Replace batteries, no change. If I squeeze it very hard I can get a clear reading for a second, but otherwise this is useless. Need it for work so very disappointed that I wasted my time and money on this. Very poorly constructed.

Awesome works better than expected

It's very cheap compared to other gauges, but the readings are regularly off by more than 30%, reading the same spot within a handful of seconds.Going back to Amazon.
