Recon 264155BK Smoked Cab Roof Lights 2002-2007 Chevy & GMC CK Series Heavy Duty Pickup (3-Piece Set)

I like the way these look but the electrical connector ends are different than what is on the truck so you'll have to cut and splice these lights in. It was more difficult than expected because its not that easy to work on the roof of your truck.

Lights look really good my my truck but the center light did not come with the proper harness to adapt to the factory one. Had to cut and splice wires

I bought these to replace the recons that were on my truck that started leaking. These look like a better design than the old ones.

Of all the items I have ordered through AMAZON, this is the only one I was not satisfied with, and could not hold back. I put this item on a 2004 GMC 2500 HD to replace the existing Amber roof lights. This item said it was a "Direct Factory Replacement installation on 2002-2007 Chevy & GMC CK Series Heavy Duty Pickups". The box actually said these Plug and Go. NOT TRUE, without cuting your existing plug and the RECON plug and splicing. I called the RECON Company 1-800 support number for confirmation. After explaining the situation, the support person agreed that I would have to cut my factory plug and the RECON plug. Not sure he had ever seen a Cab Roof Light. Now I'm thinking what the HE#$, this is exactly what they said it would fit. They did fit the factory fasteners, however they leaked also. Had to remove them and add marine grade silicone inside their rubber seal. Not sure why I gave them a 2 star except for they look good.

Great product. Looks great on my truck, would buy again! Tough to install.

I bought these lights about a year ago to replace the factory lights on my 2003 GMC Sierra 3/4 ton. Worst Decision Ever! For one you have to splice wires to install them, which is not a huge issue. The first time it rained, they leaked like a sieve, water was pouring into the cab through the overhead light fixture and down the A pillars to the floorboards, I can't even count how many times I had to dry the floorboards with a hair dryer. I tried Silicone sealant and that worked for a while, but on that middle light the rubber began seperating from the plastic of the light so water started leaking in there too. I removed the light to look at it today and not only was the rubber no longer bonded to the plastic, but the circuit board which holds the LED lights was warped so that the middle 3 LEDS were no longer sitting in their proper position so they look dim when turned on. I am now going to have to find a replacement or return to the factory lights, which after years of Texas heat and weather, NEVER LEAKED. These lights will be going in the garbage where they belong!!
