WHITE MOUNTAIN 'Ranger' Women's Boot

I am really torn about these boots...First, the pros, I like the buckles and the zippers. I ordered half a size up for a bit more room in the toe box to wear thick socks. The width of the boot fits my 16" calf with skinny jeans on. Nice interior fabric, looks more expensive with it than not.Now, the cons, the color is off, I wanted a gloss-brown, the image looks a bit more tan/brown and what I got is more matte-greenybrown, I'm sure lighting would be claimed as the culprit for the difference. Absolutely not support for your feet, with me having a bit higher arch, I feel a big gap where I'll most likely have to find some arch support so my knees don't buckle in. The soles are plastic-shiny material that doesn't provide much traction on icy or snow surfaces, but they are ok on cement, tiles and linoleum, they do make squeeky sounds as I walk. Also, if I didn't order a half size up, the calf may not have fit. Even though the boots zip up now, they feel very snug.As I am scrolling through the description, the photo in the body of the post (the outdoor pic with the model's legs) is probably more reflective of what I've got, as opposed to the picture on the top with the white background... if that makes sense.Now, here is the kicker... after I ordered the boots, in my order, the picture of the boots seems much darker but closer to the actual boots on my feet right now! See the collage with 3 boots...Overall, I'm pretty torn, there are some aspects I like but I didn't get exactly the boots I thought I would be getting... I don't hate them either, the price (just under $28) is reasonable, so... I'm going to sleep on it, hopefully the pictures help you decide if you'd order them or not!

When I first tried it on I was because your name might be a little narrow - not tight just “fitted” in foot, but really liked style and color so decided to try them and stretch out if I needed- a hour in I realized I couldn’t even feel the sides touching my feet- they stretched themselves. I’ve been looking for a grey color in this shade and love it- I know some other reviews mentioned the coloring on the boots they received was different/ more solid/ less distressed than the picture, however mine do look just like the photo on the post. Comfortable for full work day on my feet BUT beware the zippers: I cross my legs and sometimes sit on them and the ‘stylish’ outside Zippers definitely stopped that from happening... only reason for 4 stars

Color misleading in photo. This boot is definitely not distressed as shown in the photo or has a gloss either. It is a very flat light gray with zero darker tones at the heel and toe. I usually wear 8 or 8.5 and the 8 fit the perfect. I was sliding around on my tile bathroom floor so they're extremely slippery with no grip. Not sure if I'll keep them. Overall disappointed in these as I love white mountain boots. I honestly think they're a knock off.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I ordered 4 pairs of boots with the intention of keeping 1 of them. I decided to go with another pair of boots but these were definitely runner ups! I like the look of them & the feel. They do make a squishy nice when you walk but other than that? They're super cute & a great price. They're true to size & fit wider calves like mine. I do think they make my calves look a bit bigger (which is not what I want🙄) but if you have slim calves & want to make them look larger? These boots are it!

I got the distressed charcoal boots. I love these boots, I get compliments all of the time on them. I ordered a size 8.5M, I usually wear a 8.5 wide in sneakers. The fit is great, plenty of toe box room, the width is good. The top of the boot is a bit large around my calf but I have thin legs.The only complaints I would have would be they aren't as distressed as the photo (my husband actually thought the toe of my boot was dirty and it wasn't suppose to look like that) and the soles aren't the greatest in slick conditions. The soles feel like plastic, not a rubber or other soft material that would be good for traction. I took 1 star off for these factors.Overall I would certainly purchase these again and I may get another color in this style soon.

I love this boot even though the calf is wider than I needed to be. The style is fabulous and I have bought it now in three colors, with two pair in the gray because I love them so much. The little heel is perfect for people with orthotic issues, so that you’re not wearing such a flat shoe. I was able to fit an orthotic inside as well by ordering a half size up from what I normally would get.

I really like these boots and everyone wants to know where I got them. They are obviously man made materials but are made well. I bought size 8 and they fit perfect!

I had debated for awhile whether to buy these due to some reviews I read that they were uncomfortable. I am so happy I decided to buy these boots! I love them and they are extremely comfortable and flattering. I have received several compliments in the short period of time I've had them.
